What a great place !

Lovely modern café with truly great food. I had a bowl of simply delicious leek and potato soup followed by an egg sandwich .. scrumptious freshly made fare!

Filter coffee was very tasty too,

Prices are ok, its not a cheap place, but the quality makes up for it and the homemade soup was truly exceptional. My wife had a toasted sandwich that was equally delicious

The art gallery next door was well worth a visit and all in all after a hair raising drive over the pass this was a real tonic

My advice ... the homemade soup !! 10/10

The Bealach Cafe is right at the bottom of the famous Bealach na Ba road to Applecross and it is a real gem of a find. The cafe itself and most of the furniture inside was hand-built by the owners. It's a great place to stop for real coffee, bacon rolls (other sandwiches are available!), and the best home-made cakes and scones. There's also a really nice selection of local gifts and paintings - don't drive past....

We stopped for tea and had chocolate cake as well, irresistible looking cakes, Abbey loved it and had a nice hug with the owner before leaving.
A super quality cafe, in the middle of no-where, with a nice mountain drive to follow.

A great little cafe. The pancakes with banana and cream were outstanding. All very friendly. A small gallery also attached to the cafe.

Excellent service with delicious choices on the menu.

Shame that some of the patrons did not emulate the politeness of the staff. Tables occupied with belongings to hold it long after they had finished eating to converse with others...This is not a huge place, space is at a premium, hogging is just selfish, when others less agile are standing, waiting.
