Superb views of river & hillside. Parking outside house ok, but easier further down the road. 3 storeys with steep stairs may not suit all.

We stayed at navy blue in March with family.
Firstly the property has lovely views, it is well furnished and clean enough.
The property relies on electric plug in heaters which where the not on when we arrived and the place felt very cold and damp.
Very annoyingly,We had no hot water either for the majority of our stay due to recurring problems with the water heater, and sadly lost so much time during our short stay dealing with a plumber, We found the owner difficult to contact on Friday evening to report the problem,but she did send the plumber round on Saturday morning, sadly he couldn't fix the problem until 6:30pm
There is a huge damp area on the wall in the master bedroom.
The stairs are very steep and the very narrow area at the end of the breakfast bar and stairs leading down to lower floor could do with a stair gate to protect anyone from falling down.

The outside of the property is very untidy,and the garden is overgrown, slippery and a mess,the garden furniture rotted and dirty from being left out uncovered all winter, this could do with some attention.

Arrived to find the cottage very cold and smelling of damp. Sadly there was no hot water from Friday evening until Saturday but this has been mentioned in a previous post. Good view and was clean enough however having no hot water ruined the weekend. The outside of the property is very poor with old ladders etc left around. The garden is a no no as the shrubs are fairly wild, the decking old and as for the garden furniture, its filthy and rotting !! The Bar B que is a rusty piece of metal all blown over in the corner. As for the inside and yes its true there are several sockets that are either taped over saying do not use or do not fit properly. As for the heating control, at the time, its was sparking!!. Best to avoid this property if you want a trouble free holiday....one thing I have noticed is that there has been electrical issues going back to the end of last year, if the reviews are anything to go by...... Oh and there was a huge damp patch in the main bedroom !!
