Brick House is a mile from the Wales Coast Path, a good stopping off point between Cardiff and Chepstow. The owners were accommodating about accepting delivery of my bags early in the morning (much appreciated). Something about the accommodation felt strangely austere, but it was OK for a night, and I was grateful to be able to stop there. Wi-fi did not work well in the room but improved on the stair well. I left before breakfast was served, but the owner did provide me with fresh milk for tea or coffee, and, upon request, two bananas. I certainly would stay at Brick House again under similar circumstances, but would not go out of my way to seek it out.
