19 of us descended on blue waters for our wedding. It could not have been better. Mandie (the wedding co-ordinator) was fantastic. We started chatting to her via email about 8 months before the wedding (but they are so good that a couple of days before would be fine too!). The options for the wedding allowed you to tailor it to make it your perfect day and nothing was too much trouble for the hotel. They really went over and above our expectations. The little touches and attention to detail were the icing on the cake.

We got married in the gazebo, having had our hair and makeup done in the Spa (no trial required - they are excellent and got it right first time). We had a steel band playing, followed by cocktails and canapes by the pool and then the wedding meal on the beach. It really was perfect.

The stay at the hotel was amazing. The rooms are great, we stayed in a beachfront room for our first week which was lovely and then were upgraded to the Cove Suites for our second week. Between our friends and family we had the opportunity to see all of the room types and there was no disappointment.

The choice and quality of food was superb along with the warm welcome from all of the staff. Jasper and the team looked after us all so well and were accommodating when the 19 of us wanted to eat together. There are three restaurants all serving a good variety of food and all of our meals were excellent. The house wine (part of the all inclusive) was fantastic.

The hotel is perfect for a wedding or if you just want to go as a couple or a family holiday.

We all enjoyed the watersports too, snorkelling, kayaking etc. The team there looked after us all well.

It is not very often I have the opportunity to say this but I cannot fault the hotel.

Our sincere thanks to Kevin (manager), he was visible and made the time to talk to all the guests. To Mandie (amazing wedding co-ordinator) for arranging the perfect wedding day and putting up with my million questions; to Jasper, Cameron, Romaine and all the food and beverage team; to Aracelis and all the team at the Spa for looking after us so well and calming our nerves pre-wedding!

We can't wait to come back - perfect x

We have been home from our amazing stay at Blue Waters for less than a week and we are already hankering to return. If you were thinking of booking a holiday in Antigua, there is simply nowhere better than Blue Waters.

The accommodation, the extremely warm welcome, the delicious food, the powder white beaches and the aqua blue water have all made it one of our most memorable holidays to date. The Bower Family

We stayed here for a week over half term and cannot speak highly enough of Blue Waters.
We were in a Luxury Suite (402) which was perfect for our family of four with the children sleeping in 2 single beds in the separate lounge (even with these in place there was still plenty of space in the room). The suite is right next to the main restaurant and overlooks the main pool which was ideal for us as it meant we could pop back to the room as required during the day or of an evening.
We took full advantage of the facilities on site and used the hobie cats, paddle boards and kayaks and took a trip out to the reef for some snorkelling. Even though it was 1/2 term and the hotel was reasonably busy there was never an issue with availability of equipment or having to wait to use things - the water sports team were always helpful and friendly as well and happy to give advice where needed.
The children also used the kids club a couple of times - again this was great (well organised with a good variety of activities) with the optional evening activities being a welcome bonus. All the children ate together at 6:30 and then went to the club to watch films leaving the parents to enjoy dinner.
On the subject of dinner we ate in all three restaurants while the main Palm restaurant was fine; the other two offered more of a sense of occasion - the setting for the Cove being stunning.
The good facilities, food and accommodation were all supported by great staff as well. Every member of staff we saw - from gardeners to management - was polite, smiling and keen to help in any way they could. They all seemed to take genuine pride in working for Blue Waters and this really came across.
All in all this was one of our best experiences in the Caribbean with the feel of the hotel being ideal for a luxurious but relaxing holiday.
We will definitely return.

Have just spent a week in this glorious 5* hotel for a friends wedding! From being checked in with cold towels and welcome drink, the choice of 3 equally delicious restaurants, 3 pools including an adults only, beautiful, clean sandy beach, the happiest staff all wishing you a good morning/evening including ground/bar/restaurant/reception nobody could have been happier! The spa girls were all lovely and the treatments were great! The wedding was spectacular on the most amazing sunny day! Held in the gazebo which stretched into the Caribbean ocean. The bride was greeted by a steel band and after champagne and cake we then had an exclusive cocktail reception in one of the beach bars followed by the wedding dinner actually held on the sandy beach with lights cascading down all around us! Was the most idyllic/perfect time! Be in no doubt you will have the best time ever at this hotel. Top class!

Blue Waters is everything you would want in a resort. It was even more beautiful than we expected! But, what made it over the top for us was the staff. Robert at the water sports taught my husband and I to sail. He made it relaxing and fun to learn. We were so excited. We took that one lesson and the next day we were solo sailing! They kept an eye on us from the shore which made me feel so safe. Thanks Robert for our exciting adventure. Then we fished with Alex off the pier at sunset. I tangled my line a few times, but, Alex was there to help me out. Spectacular sunset views and so relaxing. And, don't miss out on taking the garden tour with John the head groundskeeper. There are so many different palms and flowers and John is passionate about them all as well as his love for Antigua. He could be the good will ambassador of Antigua! Wonderful stay
