We stayed here for 2 nights, Friday till Sunday. We were a couple with 3 children between the age of 5-13 and chose this site mainly for the outdoor heated pool. The kids loved splashing around in this and had great fun, there was a small arcade and a shop which to be honest didn't sell very much and wasn't open a few times we went there. We never ate at the club house so can't comment on that although we did go there Sunday morning to try and have a cooked breakfast before we left only to find it was closed and only opened a Friday and Saturday morning, I think it would benefit the camp greatly to open for breakfast every morning and to have the shop open and a more variety of things to buy all day instead of for limited hours. Everyone seemed friendly and the toilets and showers were clean, but somewhere to hang your clothes when in the shower is needed as we had to hang our things on the back of the shower door. Not a bad site for a few nights stay and was in driving distance of a few lovely beaches, but if we were to stay longer I think we would have struggle for things to keep everyone entertained. All in all not too bad, and happy it was dog friendly.

As a group 6 adults & 3 children under the age of 5 decided to try camping. We chose this park due to the facilities...pool, clubhouse & electric hook-ups. Stayed from 8 august to 12 August.
When we arrived they asked if we would stay on touring pitches as there weren't 3 pitches together on the camping field..As water & electric were on these pitches we set up 'camp' on these, we put the tents on the grass & parked on the hardstand.. so Thanks for letting us all stay together. there was a short walk to the laundry room & sinks to wash the dishes. we were only a short walk to the toilet/shower block/clubhouse & pool.
As it was fairly quiet on the site the children loved that they could goon their own to the play area where there were swings & climbing frame with slide.
We found the shower/toilet block extremely clean, staff were friendly & the lady in reception was extremely helpful we when asked where to take the children for a day out, she recommended Cardigan Island....the children loved feeding the animals.
In the evenings we went to the clubhouse, on weekends they have live entertainment, in the week its bingo......which the children all took a liking to!
We decided not to pay for WIFI as we wanted a break from the internet etc
On our last day we had a cooked breakfast, freshly cooked & lush.
A well maintained site in a beautiful part of Wales.

So went for 5 days. 1st thing our electric hook up didnt work. Fair play they sorted an extension lead and gave us £5 more electric. The restaurant is a rip off.... £8 for a pizza that is £2 in asda..no puddings..no cooked breakfast...no mayo...disappointing considering its the children's holiday!!! The lights in the toilets and shower keep going off so in the middle of a shower u will be plunged into darkness!!! Shop is reasonably priced. Pool is a health hazard!!! 1 camper told us a child had pooed in there and all they did was add extra chemicals !!! Can be quite noisy during the night!! Entertainment is only bingo!!! Drinks in the bar are flat!! Good for a cheap holiday but don't expect much for ur money!!!!

Hello,

first of all our restaurant meals are very reasonably priced given that they are all prepared fresh (no frozen pizza from supermarkets) all fresh ingredients, breakfast is only available during busy period and on a Friday, Saturday, as with all swimming pools accidents can happen and we were aware of this one and our maintenance guy Nigel removed the item from the pool, it was then fully treated and cleaned and closed until the next day, (you probably wouldn't have known this as you were given second information from someone else) you mention noisy we are an holiday park one which has families and you do occasionally in the main season have more noise, entertainment in the bar we have a visiting cabaret during July/August on a Saturday night all other times it's mainly a bar and restaurant, the beer isn't flat as we use heineken company that use high tech technology that prevents this type of problem, they are also responsible for cleaning the lines and they do an excellent job

i recently revisted the pilbach site with my family as i do on various bank holidays we enjoyed our stay very clean and quiet place to visit lovely resident campers all very friendly and helpful. clean facilities thanks to lovely lady called sara but i would like to point out that last bank holiday this year taking the children to the clubhouse wasnt very enjoyable for them because the resident compare kenny i think was a bit rough manhandling the children who were on the dancefloor he took a drink off a small child was quite shocked to be honest as the last time we came we had a lovely time at the clubhouse especially with the music bingo and karaoke bring back the good ole atmosphere. otherwise all would be ok as met some lovely people so would like to thank nigel the groundsman for all his hard work on up keep of site and mario for helping us set up and looking after us in the club made us feel very welcome. keep up the good work guys and see you all again soon mandy and family x

We stayed at Pilbach from 31st May to 5th June on a touring pitch
The pitches are all great...hard standing with awning space also water and waste on pitch which was a real bonus...space to park car in front of caravan
There is also a laundry room and indoor pot wash which has massive deep sinks and water was always hot
Another very short walk is the showers and toilets which are always clean and tidy the staff work very hard to keep on top of them the showers were lovely and hot every time we used them and varied water power so upto you how hot or powerful you want them ideal when you have kids
There is also another laundry room next to the showers
The outdoor pool was fantastic as some miserable reviewer put "it was full of kids" yes cause it was..as they were all having so much fun!!
My daughter went in every day and loved it most parents chill on the chairs or loungers whilst the kids enjoy themselves the amazing thing was they were allowed in the pool till 7.30pm and could take inflatables in
We didn't go down to the clubhouse at night as my husband and son like to go off fishing but my daughter (age11) went down with 2 family's and there kids that were also stopping on the park and she loved the bingo and horse racing I did go down on first night to ask for help sorting the wifi and the atmosphere in there was great everyone looked like having a good time and the staff are always happy to help...the wifi I paid for 3 devises to be used was £16 for a week which at a little over £5 per phone I think is a fair price I had no problems at all with it watched eastenders on I player no problem at all and could check my emails Google tide times etc.. My son is you tube mad and he had no problems watching videos either
They also do a take away food service which was great when they came in from fishing nicest chips ever were my sons words
The staff were all lovely always happy to help and the owners should be extremely proud of there site...for me it ticked all the boxes and we can't wait to come back in August
All in all a great site at a really fair price and west wales is a truly beautiful area
