Great place, nice staff. Especially good for diving. You can go directly there at yourself or as a group. The apartments are huge. Very nice ocean view. You need a car to be able to reach a restaurants or shops.
Only a few minutes from the airport, but not noise because of the planes.

We stayed for a week in room 20. If you have a party of at least six people this unit is a good choice. It has 3 bedrooms & 3 baths. The common area & balcony are very spacious and we enjoyed eating our meals at the outside table. The WiFi signal was very strong from our balcony. The kitchen really has everything you need for meal prep. This unit is on the south side of the complex, so it is very convenient for rinsing/storing your dive gear. Airport pickup, dive shop registration and rental car service are just steps away. We enjoyed our week and plan to return.

Room Tip: Ground floor units are all 2 bedroom.

Isle emailed us even before the trip to offer grocery shopping so that we could arrive to a stocked apartment and she and the entire Belmar team delivered that level of superb service all week. We wanted for nothing, had superb ocean front accommodations and the easiest shore diving on the house reef, Sarah's Smile, you could ever ask for. I think they prestocked the reef with seahorses just for us! :-). Our truck was delivered to the Belmar office and we were set. Hint...let the staff at Belmar make your dinner suggestions and reservations. They know their stuff when it comes to fabulous dining too. It's the only place I will stay when I visit Bonaire.

This was our seventh year here and they never disappoint. All new personnel who were absolutely great. Thank you Ilsa for all your help and attention. Diego was so helpful with a refresher course for one member of our group and made her experience truly wonderful. Will be back next year.

Room Tip: Ground floor is definitely the most convenient.

Just got back 2 weeks ago. What a wonderful time! 4th time to Bonaire, 1st time at Belmar Apts. The staff was always polite and accommodating. Stayed for 8 days of shore diving. Picked up at the airport and brought to the resort, checked in and did the dive sign in and paid marine park fees on arrival. this allowed us to go diving on our first day. After dealing with travel, a dip in the ocean is exactly what we needed. Our trips have been spaced about 5 years apart. Its been interesting to see the changes every time. The use the US dollar since 2012. No more hassles with money. They have a fully stocked grocery store that compares to here in the states. Prices are slightly higher than here but a very good option for the economy minded people who don't want to spend $100 a night at the restaurants. Belmar has a charcoal grill for guest use and we used it for 3 of our nights. We bought steaks at the Van Der Tweel grocery store and enjoyed a nice dinners on our balcony watching the sun set. This time of the year there were no bugs to speak of and the large crowds are missing. I brought my own dive gear, the wife rented a BCD and regulator set. Her equipment was like new and very well maintained by the dive staff. I had an issue with an air leak on my primary regulator and the staff fixed the bad o-ring and didn't charge me. The rooms are very clean and the cleaning staff was top notch as well. I was planning on this being probably my last dive trip because of arthritis but I think Belmar Apts. is going to motivate us to come back again. What a wonderful, relaxing vacation this was.

Room Tip: Ground floor suites don't have stairs to lug dive gear. All have balconies
