On the modern side both decor and menu wise. Nice surroundings. Extensive wine list. Beef carpaccio was excellent. Seafood & pasta dishes were fresh and nicely seasoned. Fast friendly service. Not sure why it did not wow me, but maybe next time. Food was very good, just not great. I'll visit again.

Thank Christopher L

After eating on resort of a few days we ventured into town for dinner. We had heard some great things about Capriccio so we made a reservation the night before. Totally glad we did. The food was amazing. The staff was attentive, but not hovering. The woman who took our order was so much fun as she explained the selections. Can't say enough good things about it. When we come back this will definitely be on our short list. Oh and it's also a great romantic location.

Ambiance. There's an indoor (air conditioned) dining room. Cement floors, high ceiling, floor to ceiling glass fronted wine storage, results in a slightly industrial (vs homey) vibe. Outdoor seating abuts a main street, directly across from where huge cruise ships tie up when in port. Not what we would choose to look at but others may find it entertaining. It can be noisy here from traffic and when the ships depart (typically around 7:00).

Service. Reasonably efficient, friendly service. Lola, the boss of the front of house, was immensely helpful selecting the perfect bottle of wine.

Food. This was a mixed bag. A welcoming mimosa was a nice touch but too sweet for me to start a meal. Our shared appetizer of Wahoo two ways was just ok. Linguini with scallops disappointed: the scallops weren't seared particularly well and the pasta was seriously under seasoned. Braised lamp shank in red wine sauce was far superior and the best bite of the evening. Various breads, including outstanding focaccia, accompanied the meal.

Value. Neither bargains nor outrageously over priced food. The extensive wine list offers everything from inexpensive to eye popping. Use Lola as a resource to navigate it.

We went there and all had fish which was well prepared. before we were served our meal they served a nice small salad --we did not expect his and had ordered salad. At the end of the meal they served an Italian cookie that my family in Italy had also made that day to celebrate carnival.

We made a reservation a day in advance, which is normal for fine dining in Kralendijk, but ended up right in the entry way. That's one reason for the 4/5. The service started out slow, but improved throughout. The salad size was-- beyond what we expected-- quite enough for 2 -- and very green romaine not the usual iceberg (somewhat rare on Bonaire). The OssoBucco my partner had was nice but not really special (3/5). The restaurant has a good knowledge of gluten free prep. The red pesto gluten free pasta with cheese was cooked perfectly - actually better than in Italy last fall and the proportion of pasta to sauce was also perfect. It gets a 5/5. It was a generous plateful so I didn't have room to try any dessert. Italian wine was good, but a bit spendy. Location is somewhat noisy outside and I needed insect repellent for the biting bugs (actually at every restaurant - they come out after sunset).
