We took a snorkeling tour given by Boy & Mark to our group of 10. Boy had so much knowledge about the sea life in Bonaire and was able to keep moving in the same direction. The places and animals he showed us were absolutely gorgeous with the highlight being a sea turtle. I would highly recommend going with this company for a day in the water while in Bonaire.

This was an exceptional snorkeling tour we booked via email before our cruise stop at Bonaire. We did not pay in advance, just verified the details prior to our arrival. Caribe Watersport runs a very nice, large catamaran water taxi from the Cruise terminal in Kralendijk to Eden Beach. We took the water taxi, and waited at the Eden Beach resort/bar for the 10:30 catamaran snorkeling tour. The Tour was Fantastic!! Boy Roozendaal was our snorkeling guide, and we did drift snorkeling at two places off Klein Bonaire Island. The fish and coral were incredible! This was some of the best snorkeling I have ever done, based on coral and fish viewing. Klein Bonaire Island is a wildlife preserve, with water taxi and beach snorkeling available there also. After our tour, we returned to Eden Beach and snorkeled from there. Eden Beach has quite of few large "tame" Parrot and other fish hanging around the dock. They are very easy to photograph.

We plan to revisit Bonaire and will definitely visit Caribe Watersport again!

We decided to use Caribe Water Taxi because it was convenient to the Sand Dollar condo where we were renting. Caribe Water-taxi was happy to let us drop our gear off on the beach and then drop us off at a point about 800 m to the east so that we could drift snorkel back to the beach. They provided safety instructions and offered masks and made sure that everyone was in good shape before they disappeared and headed back to the main island. In the past, we have used Kontiki di Amor taxi service which always charged us an additional $2 per person for this same service, even though the drop-off is on the way back to the island (so not at all out of the driver's way). In addition, Kontiki never provided any sort of safety or guidance information at all and, most importantly, never checked to make sure the snorkelers were all set before departing. Going forward, we will use Caribe Water Taxi because it just seemed to be a much better run operation.

Wow! This service was great. We’d get on the water taxi (usually the 10:15 departure) from downtown Kralendijk. (Look for the white tents over Karel’s restaurant along the waterfront. The Caribe Water Taxi docks there). The times are posted on a sign at street level, informing you how often they leave and the cost (US dollars, cash is best). On the way over, the captain tells you about how to navigate the beach and what water areas are accessible for snorkeling. We went on non-cruise ship days because it was less busy. You arrive (after one brief stop at another location to pick up more passengers), at Klein Bonaire by about 10:40. The Water Taxi pulls up as close to shore as possible and lets down a ladder for riders to either get off to enjoy time on the island, or as in our case, to drop off a bag of dry clothes in a bush on shore. Then snorkelers get back on the Water Taxi and are dropped off at a distant buoy and then you float in on the current to the initial landing spot where your dry clothes have been dropped off. It’s a very good system! Some people went twice, back to back before returning to town. The captain points out where the yellow half way pole is located on shore, in order for you to keep an eye on the time, if you want to catch the 11:45 back to downtown. When they drop you off, they tell you the times they will be back to pick you up. We took our snorkel gear. In the bag which was left on dry land, we brought a towel, bottle of water, a hat, shorts/shirt each, and our walking runners (no other cash/id). It’s a very simple trip, the snorkeling is fun and the beach on the island is wonderful white sand. There is absolutely no shade or conveniences (toilets/food stands) on the island.

We walked off the boat and to the end of the pier in Bonaire and make a left and met them at a restaurant with a dock. The cruise ship was charging $60/pp. They charged us $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under, so $60 for our family. They had drinks for sale, along with life vents you could rent for the day. On the way over to Klein Bonaire, they explained shuttle times in detail and the best place to enter the water and exactly how to drift snorkel to get the best experience. The staff was amazing and we were the first ones on the island for the day. They were very knowledgable about the fish we'd encounter and their customer service was great, and they speak great english. Very friendly and helpful and i highly recommend Caribe for your adventure to Klein Bonaire.
