Kenneth at the Sun Club bar was amazing! For the 9 day we were there, he was worked 5 of them. He ran circles around any other employee that worked that bar during our stay. He came down to us at the beach multiple times a day to see if we wanted a cocktail or waters. He knew what our favorite cocktail was. After the first day he never had to ask what were drinking again. We wish he could have been there everyday! He was by far the best employee in the entire resort.

I am a UVC club member , I booked this vacation well in advance . I paid for an ocean view king sun club . when I arrived I was put into building # 2 2304 view of a harbour with a small fish loading station and a queen bed . ( room was very Clean ,just not what we paid for )
when we complained they were very busy and promised to move us in the next 2 days . We arrived on a Friday and they moved us by Sunday @ noon .( bad news was we had to vacate our room @ noon and new room was not ready until 4;30 pm ) We moved to building # 8, 3rd floor 8303 .the staff were great just not enough of them . rooms were very clean . food was average

Stayed at Sunscape Feb 2-9, 2018. Paid for Sun Club. Stayed in the Flamingo Building. Beautiful ocean view room with a balcony. Room was being cleaned when we got there, so we went for a drink and it was ready shortly after. Room was cleaned well every day. Breakfast and Lunch buffets were good and we could always find something, but was not outstanding. Unorganized chaos from servers at the buffet. Slowed service considerably. Had good dinners at the steakhouse (great Filet Mignon)and Seafood Restaurants. Bar areas were lacking. No big social area to gather at. No swim up service at all. Good live musicians in the evening. The most outstanding staff member hands down was Kenneth at the Sun Club bar. Made me great Blue Hawaiian’s! He is a very kind, humble, professional bartender who was a joy to chat with every day. He did his utmost to make everyone happy, even vacationers who were rude to him, which I witnessed unfortunately. Truly a lovely gentleman. Most outstanding feature of this resort is the snorkelling. The Break-wall allows for calm water and an excellent variety of sea life! Mambo Beach is a five minute walk away for quaint shopping and nice restaurants. Will most likely return some day as we felt very safe on the island, which is sadly becoming hard to find these days.

I went to this resort in July with my mom for her Birthday. We loved it! The staff was amazing and very Attentive. The food was some of the best I've had at an AI resort. They even had authentic native food which most AIs don't. The Italian restaurant was our least favorite. I enjoyed the show at the Japanese restaurant. Bluewater grill is amazing for great views and good food. The seafood restaurant offered the best meal an entire fried red snapper on the beach! There is no disco so that's a downside I was a bit bored at night. Curacao is such a beautiful country we left the resort and went into town several times and we were always safe. The pools are nice but we are beach lovers. You need water shoes for the beach it's a bit rocky. Its not a 5 star luxury resort, yet we were treated very well. I'm hoping to go back soon!
