The staff are great dancers, especially Joseline and Leo Zapata are careing people. The pool is big, they have an excellent karaoke night, massage, and it's quite fun to play water polo. We have had a really pleasent stay. Even without the all inclusive.

Spent about a week at Blue Beach and loved every minute. The staff was always very accommodating. From Nicolas at the front desk to Zapata the entertainment guru. The rooms are spacious and new. Having a full kitchen is always a plus and the in suite washer/dryer made it so much easier. The resort looks exactly like the pictures online and that's saying a lot. Would definitely come back!

Stayed at Blue Beach Luxury Resort with my boyfriend from February 19th-26th. The soft opening was actually great. Few things not finished but it was perfect for us. Nice and quiet & great hospitality! We were able to relax and enjoy the sun without it being crowded or having too much chaos around (which was fantastic).

We really enjoyed the service at the bar and the restaurant. Manuel and Melvin were awesome!! They had great English and made for a great experience.

Our room was beautiful! Originally we wanted a roof top patio but at the time they weren't finished, so we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom condo with a nice view :).

Over all we had a great time and would definitely come back!

Clean looks like the pics. Supermarket and craft market a round the corner. Street a bit quiet need some light. It hasn't been open a year. Still under construction. I look forward to returning next year when they have their grand opening.

Only con is the no open listing for prices of restaurant and buffet.

My family of 4 recently vacationed at Blue Beach Punta Cana Luxury Resort for a one week all-inclusive family stay (Mar 13-20). After reading many online reviews, we chose this resort knowing that it was in a “soft” launch state and we were not disappointed to say the least. Quite the opposite in fact…we were truly impressed with the room accommodations, the entertainment, the pools, the beach and especially with all of the resort staff!! I can only imagine how amazing it will be once the renovations are completed later this year. As with other reviews, yes, we did hear some construction noises throughout the day, and there were a few ‘hiccups’ due to the renos, but we did not let this bother us. Please note that my review is based only on our all-inclusive experience. We did not leave the resort at all, so I cannot comment about shopping, transportation, groceries, etc. I don’t typically write reviews, but I thought that this place was very worthy of my time and comments! Hope this review helps others make their decision. Happy travels!

We stayed in a spacious and luxurious 3 bedroom condo suite (building L, Suite 301) which directly faced the ocean and overlooked the restaurant. We had incredible views of the beach and ocean and were steps away from the Blue Wave Restaurant / Bar and all 3 of the pristine pools. Our condo was equipped with a fully loaded kitchen (oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, cutlery, etc), a laundry room (washer, dryer and tub), a vast living room area with a TV, and 3 bedrooms with either queen or king beds. The Master bedroom also had a wall-mounted TV! There were 2 full bathrooms with showers - one in the master and the other in the hallway between the other 2 bedrooms. I might also add that each bedroom had floor to ceiling built-in custom closets. Very spacious for all your clothes, shoes and accessories. The condo also had an iron / ironing board / hair dryer and a FREE in-room safe and resort-wide FREE wifi. A big thank-you to the cleaning staff that maintained our condo. They were very attentive and thorough.

At the time of our stay, there was only one restaurant called the Blue Wave which offered both buffet and menu options. No reservations were required, which was nice. Every night the restaurant hosted different themed nights for dinner - Italian, Mexican, Asian. On the other nights the resort staff arranged a BBQ on the beach accompanied by live musicians; a homeland Dominican themed-night with professional Dominican dancers; a seafood-theme dinner prepared pool-side with an incredible live “fire” show including music, dancing and juggling. The food was prepared to perfection and if there wasn’t something that tempted you, the chef would customize any of the menu items to your liking! Some of our favourite menu items included their egg omelette station for breakfast, Blue Beach / Texas Hamburger, BBQ Baby Back Ribs, Rib Eye Steak Skewers, Pasta with a Bolognese sauce, Caesar Salad and their Mexican Sampler - steak, chicken or veggie fajitas with all the fixings! They also had a variety of appetizers, seafood dishes, “make your own pasta” and a kids menu which offered chicken fingers, mac & cheese and corned dog skewers. The service staff was incredible - Juan, Manual, Charlier, and especially RAFAEL, to name a few. All of the staff was great, but these gentlemen in particular helped us on a daily basis. We cannot thank them enough for making our stay very memorable. A shoutout to our bartender Eric as well for all those delicious tropical drinks that he created - from their native Sammy Sosa drink to the Mai Tai to the fresh fruit non-alcoholic daiquiris that the kids enjoyed.

The Entertainment crew including Jose and Jocelyn were outstanding as well! They provided daily activities and nightly dinner entertainment for resort guests of all ages! From morning Yoga with Jocelyn by the beach to Spanish lessons, frisbee, bocce and bowling competitions with Jose by the pool / beach - they kept the kids and adults busy. All of the dinner entertainment I mentioned above was arranged and hosted by Jose! He made everyone feel engaged and welcomed and a part of the Blue Beach family!

Our family also frequented the on-site 24hr gym that they had...working out never felt better especially when the view was tropical palm trees and lagoon style pools! They had various high end equipment and weights. They also offered a kid’s club (daycare) but we did not require this service. The one thing that was advertised through my travel agent that was not offered at the resort was complimentary non-motorized water sports. They did not offer this. Also, there is only one bar (located in the Blue Wave Restaurant). There are not 2 bars as advertised. There is currently no Zumba Bar, however you can get all your healthy fruit drinks / smoothies at the Blue Wave Bar. The spa is currently set up on the beach for massages. The official resort spa is not ready yet…I am told that it will be ready later this year. Also worth mentioning is that the resort had 24/7 security walking the beach and resort.

I would also like to take the time to thank the beach crew for cleaning and maintaining the beach each and every morning. By the time we got up in the mornings, the white sandy beach shore was pristine! We also never had any trouble finding beach loungers for the family under a shady tree or beach umbrella. The beach was very quiet and peaceful - just what we were looking for. Same goes for the pools. They were always very clean and the water was a comfortable temperature. As with the beach, the poolside was always very quiet and private. I would suggest bringing your own Dollar Store pool toys or floaties as they do not have any here. There were no lineups at the restaurant and no need to wake up early to save yourself a spot at the beach or pool. So if you are looking for a relaxing week with your family at a beautiful resort, this is the place for you. If you are looking for adventure, you can always book one of the many excursions that are offered by Nexus Tours at the Blue Beach Concierge.

We can’t wait to visit our Blue Beach family again and we look forward to seeing all of the future renovations! Thanks again for an amazing family trip!

Room Tip: BLDG L, #301- Our 3-bdrm oceanfront condo also overlooked the restaurant. We loved listening to the nightly entertainment from our balcony!
