I just returned home from this resort I was scheduled to stay at Grand Palladium Punta Cana. But when we arrived we were told that Grand Palladium Punta Cana was closed and so was Grand Palladium Bravaro. Everyone was now consolidated at Grand Palladium Palace Resort and Spa. They said this was considered an upgrade from the Punta Cana property but there was no way to be sure. There was approximately 25% capacity. This made it very easy to accommodate social distancing. Every night, 2 restaurants are open. They rotate each night. Every evening the Poseidon restaurant becomes one of the specialty restaurants. Find out the schedule from Guest Services. The best one was El Dorado.....the steakhouse. The Indian restaurant was my 2nd favorite. There IS a buffet for breakfast and lunch. This is done at Poseidon. It was fine. Typical. They did have some nice meats and cheese if you want to make a charcuterie plate. Unless you want to consider buying into their Vacation Club (time share) do NOT go with anyone in a blue shirt. I went with Paul and he told me that it was only going to take 30 minutes. It took 2 hours!! And there was no “thank you for your time” gift.
