By far the best Jamaican local restaurant in the city. Entree of soup is delicious, tables are set with clothe, flowers and spices. Chairs are comfy inside or sit outside on a circular roman style tables. Come early or she may run out of certain dishes, great selection of fish and chicken. She makes steam fish with Okra, the best!!! She has best cuts of chicken and nice curry and Jerk. Corner Bar, 3 Dives, Sport Bar etc... are cheap versions of the real thing.

In the west part of negril and away from the beach and tourists and high priced food. We went with a friend who lives in negril. Food was great and prices were fair. I left my sunglasses there and two days later when we returned the owner returned them to me. I recommend this place

My husband and I heard good things about this place and we were not let down. My husband had the brown stew chicken and I had the oxtails. They don't serve beer or alcohol but there's a little convenience store next to it which is quite expensive. One six pack of red stripe was $16. So bring your own.

A whole-in-the-wall roadside restaurant run by someone's Jamaican auntie -where else would you go for good food?

The prices are rock-bottom of course, and the food was great. Excellent-tasting  oxtail that obviously had been cooking for days, as every morsel was falling off the bones; the curry chicken was among the best and very spicy (without having to ask for spice), and the curry goat was also quite good. It comes with rice and peas, various vegetables, and very good coco bread. She also brought small cups of soup as an appetizer.

The menu doesn't include patties or any jerk items, so don't expect that; and drinks are minimal (she had bottled water, a couple sodas, and maybe a beer or two), though you could probably grab something from the little grocery shack next door while waiting. Highly recommended for anyone wanting good Jamaican food that's not jerk, patties, or seafood.
