Clear warm water

Cons: broken glass on the beach and in the water.
Walkway to the beach is filthy

After finding my 3rd piece of large broken glass within 30 mins it was time to go.
This was not my first visit to this beach but it definitely will be my last.

The $5 charge to park should be going towards cleaning this beach up.

We visited this beach on a Saturday and it's not crowded at all!! The beach is plenty big enough for you to find your own little area. The locals are there and are very respectful! Bring an ice chest with drinks and your lunch and you are set to have a great afternoon. By the way, it's beautiful! Our teens had fun snorkeling and seeing fish, no reefs but to the far left there are some.

Not the best beach for snorkeling, but still some reefs and some fish. Some people have seen manatees but we didn't get to see them. Still a beautiful relaxing beach and wasn't too populated when we went. Hector from the Pirate Snorkeling Shack is extremely helpful and can give you a map of the snorkeling spots that also tells you the fish species.

As a family of 4, we were not impressed with this beach. From a distance, it is beautiful. Up close, not pretty. There amount of trash was staggering. Also, this beach seems to attract any and all of the ocean debris. We have been to Caribbean beaches and seen the trash that gets left behind. This one was more than most.

The upside, the sea glass! There is so much sea glass. Of course, this is from all the broken bottles that have accumulated over time. My girls loved digging and finding the sea glass. Another upside, the path to Escondida Beach. If you are looking at the water, go to the left. That beach is AMAZING!

The water at Seven Seas is great for swimming. Again, not our favorite around Fajardo, but safe for kids.

ALL of the locals told us how beautiful and nice this beach is. First of all, the locals crowd and trash this place out like it's their back yard. They bring in huge speakers, beer, and just throw all of their trash in the sand and leave it. As for the "beach" there is only a few feet of actual sand, which again is full of trash and ants and leaves. The water is clear in the super shallow (less than a foot) areas, but is full of grass through about 75% of the water and is contaminated with a lot of trash. There isn't anywhere close to buy snacks or drinks, and the place across the street charges to use the bathroom.... You must walk a LONG way down the "beach" to get to a spot you can set in and get chewed up by ants. We travel a LOT and this is the most neglected beach I have ever seen. The beach area reminds me of a dirty lake in Oklahoma. I only gave 2 stars for the water quite far from the beach. Go somewhere else!!!!
