Beautiful seating, very clean, titles are listed if th ey are in English with Spanish subtitles- I live on the east coast - prices are far less than what I would pay at home. Escalator for 2nd floor access.

The choices are some of the better films many Spanish. The American films are in English with Spanish subtitles. The seating is stadium style and there is real food as well as popcorn at the concession stand.

For years, I have been an ambassador, and a frequent visitor to Fine Arts Cafe; both, at BPPR in Hato Rey and in Miramar. Up to recently, both locations were top class. The movies selected are usually great, and the food and wine are OK. So, going after work, for a nice relaxing time is a treat. Food and Wine are a bit pricy, but manageable. However, it appears that recently management changed, and now they are more focused on cutting costs, than in providing an enjoyable experience and service for their upscale audience. The last three (3) visits have been way below their standards. The venue in Hato Rey needs a renovation and Loving Tender Care. The chairs are starting to break; the upholstery on the seats is getting damaged. They have also changed their service staff, and elapsed time is much longer. The worst thing is that lately, they do not turn on the A/C, unless you ask them. It happened in my last three times, and is now a trend. Management should consider it and do something, before Fine Arts starts losing its valued and repeat customers.

Cost a little more than the regular theater but you get hard to find releases. Better quality snacks and better seating.
