Wished we could have stayed longer! Great location, rooftop nightlife, pool, service, and the beds are so comfortable! We will be back. The rooms were beautifully decorated and equipped with very nice comforts

This hotel offered wonderful service. The staff was friendly, the happy hour in the evening with half price drinks on a rooftop was spectacular. The food was great. The morning breakfast was delicious. Our only issue was the damp like odor in the the room that was bothersome. Other than the odor, the room was spacious and bed very comfortable.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY. We stayed in presidential suite for about $200/ night. Room was comfortable, bed great, spacious. Service excellent throughout. Roof-top quiet, small swimming pool with bar, over looking entire city. AMAZING. Morning complementary breakfast was perfect, with personal , flawless service from David Braver. This was a comfortable place to stay. In fact, I would consider returning to San Juan, Puerto Rico just to stay at Ciqala. That's Ivy my wife in one picture , ecstatic with my choice of hotel. And David who was so attentive to our needs, in another pic. I left this hotel with a warm glow, and hope to return. Jeff

Lovely service and beautiful room. The restaurant on the roof served fantastic food (also does room service), and there are good restaurants nearby. I didn't try the pool, but the beach is just a few minutes away. My room didn't have a window due to repairs I believe, but it wasn't a big deal. Great time!

I think compared to other hotels in the area, ciqala is probably the best choice but it is way overpriced. Most staff were nice but I found the people in the front desk not to be helpful. They gave very minimal answers and we had to find out more on our own by researching on our cellphones. The walls are very thin and if you are a light sleeper you probably won't be able to sleep because it is really noisy and loud. We stayed on the "SP floor" where they did all the cooking so throughout the night you can hear the pots and pans banging and the smell of smoke fills the air as you leave your room. Luckily, you do not smell that inside your room but I am just mentioning this because for the price of the room, I found this really inconvenient. The rooftop pool is nice but it's connected to the restaurant upstairs so it's really awkward to swim in front of people who are eating. If you do go up at night, make sure to use mosquito repellent because we did get some bites!

The pros of this place is the breakfast! It is definately delicious and can definately fill you up for your day! The location of ciqala is pretty good. You're about a 15 minute walk from Walmart and a 25 minute walk to la
Placita. I would suggest using uber if you don't feel like walking as it is the cheapest option! Also, I have to say the cleanliness of the room was great as well!
