you feel like you've walked into one of NYC or Chicago's finest restaurants -- it's beautiful. The service impeccable. The food fantastic. And yes, as you do everywhere on St. Bart's, you pay a pretty penny for it. We did veal dishes that were perfectly prepared and the prosciutto w/melon as a starter. We had the split of chianti for $40. It's exceptional food & service, you can't be disappointed with that.

Just had dinner here as we passed the restaurant and thought it looked good. What a shame there was no menu displayed outside as we probably would have walked on by. The food was excellent but so too, were the prices. We had 3 beers and three main courses plus 1 side order of roast potatoes and it came to over €150. I don't think there was a bottle of wine under €100. It was amazing to see how the other half live. Our waiter was polite and courteous, offering us a vast array of specials that all sounded delicious, no prices were mentioned, but it would seem by the clientele that price did not matter. Starters @ around €28, mains minimum €32 plus veg on top (I hate that), sweets @ €14 and a beer @ €7. Keep away, unless your pockets are deep. Great food, though, I have to say.

Coming from Europe this has to be a joke or a simple rip-off for people who have never had italian food. Astronomical prices for simple italian cuisine! Strange St Barth use to be for refined clientele. Enormous carte, tens of dishes....not possibly very gastronomic.
For middle class tourist thinking Italian food is luxury.

Try the restaurant at Cheval Blanc - proper St barth luxury

This elegant Italian restaurant serves a Veal Chop to die for. The pastas are excellent, the service friendly and the clientele top notch with a twist. All the stars and celebrities come to Isoletta, its also my favorite eatery on the island. Very expensive but that's St. Barths. 10th visit at lea

We have eaten at Isola every year for the last 8 years. This year was one of our best experiences. We wanted a reservation around 8 pm , but because of the busy season, we only had a choice of 6:30 or 9:30 pm. We took the 6:30 time and ended up being very pleased that we did. We had excellent friendly service and were not rushed at any point. The food was terrific, seafood risotto was perfection and the wine matching was bang on assisted by our waiter. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. High price point and worth it!!
