"Yesterday I attended the Plant Based Daily pop up tasting at Quarter, it was a delicious menu with organic vegan options. I love Asian flavors so I was excited to see a korean stir fry and vietnamese pho vegan style! Also the matcha coconut cheesecake was to die for."

From the moment I walked through the door... I was immersed in Chez Chris' version of la Petite Club meets fusion taquería meets craft cocktail and bourbon nirvana: I absolutely love this place.

I've been coming to SBH for 19 years. I've been to every place on the island that serves a glass or offers a meal. Proprietor Chris new (to me) contribution to this magic island is nothing short of, well, shall we leave it at that? Magic.

The perfect mix of tasty small plates (can you say bourbon glazed bacon) and tacos compliment an amazing selection of high end spirits and champagne.

And when you've had a drink (Mixed by barman extraordinaire Tim) and sampled the fare..... There still a little hocus pocus left to enjoy: the box. But, you'll have to stop by to discover that one for yourself.

Thanks Chris~ see you for NYE!

Ok i travel around a bit from time to time and one thing I love is trying local street food, yes ask the locals where they eat a taco, or a dok boki, or a shwarma, you get the picture. Well i arrived for our annual visit for Turkey Day, and of course St. Barth is not known for Turkey outside of hotels catering to American Tourists, so I ventured into Gustavia to see what was new and there we found this new HOT SPOT. The bar was packed with locals gnoshing on dumplings and bacon, interesting combo, so we headed in and checked out the game on TV (american football), i guess geared towards American as the locals weren't even remotely interested. So we had a cocktail "Why Not" caribbean flavors married with Bourbon, yes Bourbon, the last thing i would expect on this French island and it was super refreshing. We asked for a table and the manager charming gentleman escorted us to a great table by the window, number 16 i think and we had dumplings (mahi and pork) all made in house, nothing frozen and served in bamboo steamer baskets and sauces, ASK if you want them spicy as they weren't the first time, but after asking chef came over, great guy and American and told us he was so excited to making something spicy as normally he gets the "oh its spicy" feedback. After the dumplings we tried the tacos and here is where the fun started, Mahi with a tequilla lime sauce, chorizo with slaw, pork belly with crispy bites and house picked veggies, and the most delish cauliflower taco, yes we had a veggie taco and my wife ordered more as they were done with true Corn tortillas and a treat. After we had no room for dessert but we saw a set of Nutella tacos walk by to another table and asked our server about them she said they were the most popular item, which usually means a good price or something they are pushing, but we were completely surprised they were really good. There are too many items on the menu we did not get to so expect another review on your next visit.
