Wow! At the tender age of 50 we went to the Rendezvous for our honeymoon through Virgin holidays. On arrival we were greeted with a cool face towel and a rum cocktail. We were then taken to our room personally, which was a basic garden view room. Foor poster bed the works. In the room was a bouquet, champagne and a tray of fruit courtesy of the hotel. The location is on the beach literally. The staff here are amazing and the food is out of this world. It is next to a cemetry and a small local airport, 7 planes a day and is not a problem. I am actually lost for words the place is fantastic and any body that wants to complain needs shooting. Lots of weddings and honeymooners here. Go on book it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We arrived by helicopter transfer, Brilliant. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink and cold towels which was lovely, shown to our room well I dont know where to begin... Room was lovely , on the beachfront just few yards from an amazing beach. Everything had been thought of for your stay, Furnished to very high standards and very large bathroom with great walk in shower that worked perfectly. Toiletries to last you the whole stay and a hair drier that was good too. It is worth paying the extra for a beach front room. The grounds were well cared for and well lit with lovely quiet spots to find but you didnt actually need them as the whole resort was very peaceful. The Lazy River was great, lovely furniture and a quiet place to relax. The food was first class plenty of choice and always hot even though it was a buffet service. The staff went out of their way to please you and nothing was too much trouble. We loved the drink service on the beach . Afternnon tea, cakes and sandwich's was lovely too. This was all inclusive and at other hotels you sometimes have to pay extra for branded driks or bottled wine. Here you didnt everything was included. We never actually spent any money at all. We did not go out of the hotel as it was too nice to leave.(we have been to St Lucia before and have done the sight seeing trips ) Even the departure tax was paid for by the hotel. We transfered back to the airport by helicopter also .
We would reccommend this hotel for a lovely relaxing holiday . For us it was just perfect. Thank you to all the staff. :-)ps check out the piana bar its amazing.

Room Tip: Luxury beach front rooms are brilliant.

Quite simply I think you would struggle to find a better Hotel than this anywhere in the world...We had an awesome honeymoon. Staff were outstanding, food was excellent (that from a fussy eater), rooms and service were top notch. You have to try the massages too!!!!!

We are saving to go back - immense holiday!

From Twilight check in @ Gatwick to Hotel Manager Jhasmine Remy and ALL her staff everything was spot on. The 'little' airport next door was a bit of an inconvenience but
nothing terrible. The hotel, the facilities, the rooms, the food. the staff were just wonderful
even Pauline trying to get us fit! You could do everything or nothing just plant a flag in the sand for another 'cocktail' - the Trysting Place for truly 5*+. The Spa was so pampering, the swim up bar such fun - and you meet the nicest people.

Room Tip: The Verandah rooms are simply the best.

The hotel is over an hour drive from the main airport in St Lucia but less than 5min away from a smaller airport. So we flew into the smaller airport BUT had a layover in Puerto Rico.

So the hotel itself is gorgeous. The grounds are very nice and lush with gorgeous gardens. Very clean with a nice caribean decor. At night you could hear crickets and birds chirping.

We had a Verandah Suite on the first floor so we had a view of the tropical garden. Room was very nice and was always kept clean. No TV!! Which I knew and honestly didnt mind. What I didnt know was that there is no wifi internet , so we had no use for the laptop that we travelled with. In order to use the internet we paid $10 for an hour of time. Which turned out ok other than checking email every other day we really didnt use it much so the 60minute we paid for lasted the entire week.

Only one place to eat during the day, Terrace Restaurant which to me the food was good but I needed variety. At night there was a restaurant, Trysting Place that you had to make reservations for, and we tried out on one night and it was OK. The terrace restaurant at night had different theme nights so that gave it some variety for dinner. No room service at all, whih they had that.

Pool, 3 gorgeous pools. One in particular in a garden with several secluded areas for couples to sunbathe or swim. This was my favorite!! There was a bar person that would take drink orders by the pool and down by the beach so that was helpful.

Entertainment at night varied between live bands and the entertainment staff dancing. It was interesting. My only complaint would be there aggrssive way of trying to get guests to participate. I dont like anyone coming up to me trying to pull me to the dance floor, that was very annoyinG.

Very expensive boutique. If u need sundresss there is a vendor right past the pool area and she has sarangs and sundresses for the beach. If u need toiletries or anything else right across the street is a supermarket.

There were no other hotels nearby and no nightclubs nearby.

Got a bodyscrub and massage at the spa which was very good

All in all it was perfect for our honeymoon very romantic. We left the resort twice once for a tour and spent another doing some shopping.

BTW the shopping at Point Seraphine or the market was subpar.

Good for romance not for partying.
