I think my review disappeared the first time that I posted. We would not stay here again. We stayed on points (a lot of them). We were upgraded to the beach side of the resort. If we had not been upgraded, this would have been a major issue. The beach is really lovely - can't emphasize that enough. The occupancy at the Ritz is much higher than the other hotels and condos, and consequently the beach is much more crowded. We were truly sardines on the Jersey shore. The staff does their best monitoring how long people leave their loungers empty, but it is a strange experience to look to the left and look to the right and see beaches that were significantly more peaceful. They did a poor job of keeping kids on the kids side. In fact, we did not learn about the kids side until the second to last day.
The prices were high, but we expected that. There is a great supermarket and liquor store close by, and we were able to have drinks on the balcony every night. The music was a terrible dud. We walked to the Westin to hear live music.More
