“Wow. What a fantastic place.”
Reviewed 12 May 2019 for a stay in May 2019

We have just returned from 3 night stay at Cenfaes Cottage.
What a fantastic place.
When we arrived you just knew from the condition of the outside that the inside would be perfect.
The inside was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable.
You cold not ask for anything extra every amenity is there, fridge which had a carton of milk as we all need a cup of tea after our journey, tea, coffee & sugar in the jars, a coffee maker with extra pods, dishwasher with tablets, bath towels, tea towels, extra toilet rolls.

From booking to arriving Jacqui provides you with all the information about the cottage e.g. Simple instructions on how to turn on the central heating & hot water.

As recommended we visited the local pub which is no more than a minutes walk.
Really friendly staff, great food & service and drinks prices that are unbelievably cheap.

We also visited the Indian restaurant Bala Spice ( in Bala), great food & service but they are not licensed so take your own drinks, the one thing you should know is they do not accept card payments but there is a cash machine opposite so don't let this put you off.

Thank you Jacqui, we look forward to returning very soon.

We stayed at the Lovely quant cottage last weekend and were very impressed! It was spotlessly clean with all the facilities you need and more. The log fire was great, so cosy. Very close to the eagle pub which offer lovely meals. Lovely touches make it homely and welcoming. Loved the visitors book and the owners folder telling you about them and what’s available locally. Would love to go back xx

“Immaculate little cottage in spectacular scenerry”
Reviewed 17 July 2018 for a stay in July 2018

The cottage was perfect, immaculately clean, with plenty of character and nice touches, everything you needed was on hand. Great local pub, friendly locals and good honest pub food within 200 metres. The surrounding countryside is spectacular be it bright sunshine or cloudy (we experienced both). There is a free weekend bus service should you require the service that travels into Bala and further afield, every hour and on time!!!

All in all a lovely weekend, a great owner (instant replies) who is lucky enough to own and kind enough to share her little gem of a cottage!
