“Another FAB stay in this lovely and modern cottage”
Reviewed 27 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

Sitting typing this review whilst packing up after another fabulous week staying at Gwelfryn.

It really is the most perfect family holiday home - modern, super-comfortable and in the most perfectly quiet spot just a very short drive from Aberdaron village.

We love the master double upstairs, which makes it perfect for the kids to sleep in adjoining rooms downstairs. Great family kitchen, with breakfast bar stools, kitchen table for six and a sofa! It's such a great family space, we hardly had need for the lounge (which is stocked with DVDs, books and games). No fewer than 5 TVs in the house too, although to be fair, we didn't have them on much.

We were really cosy here, the owners made us feel very welcome - and even left a freshly baked cake for our arrival.

This was our second visit in three years - and we wouldn't hesitate to come back the next time we want to holiday on the Llyn Peninsula. Highly recommended.

And Tesco.com deliver here too - what more could you want ;-)

Thank you for such a lovely review and for booking with Best of Wales. it feels as if it is your home and that is exactly how we like our visitors to feel. The property works in so many ways for families, space and all the facilities you need. The area is amazing with the scenery, beaches and sea views.
It is always a huge vote of confidence for us when visitors return, it says it all and glad you enjoyed the cake.
Hope to welcome you again soon

Amazing accommodation. Lovely and clean, when we arrived it felt as though we were the first to ever stay there?! Really thoughtful owner had left an Easter egg and a cake for us, which was lovely! Lovely to wake up to the cows mooing in the morning and all very nicely put together place. Down quite a steep hill to the shops and beach but only 10minutes away.
A lovely retreat.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely comments and for booking with Best of Wales.
Glad you enjoyed your little Easter surprise chocolate. The area is stunning with the most amazing beaches and scenery, which is a short walk and worth it just for the views.
Great to hear that you felt you were the first people to stay in the property, that shows just how much care is taken to make your holiday special.
Hope you return again soon.

This house has a fantastic kitchen, and comfortable and stylish bedrooms/bathrooms. A small pleasant garden with comfy outdoor chairs. The house has quick access to the beach and other amenities in Aberdaron. All our family loved their stay. Wifi was a bonus for teenagers! We arrived to Easter flowers and cakes left by the owner, who also visited on our arrival day to check everything was ok for us.
