We were greeted by a friendly & knowledgeable docent. He guided us through rooms with local artifacts. It was nice to see the history of the island. Views over Salt Bay and out to Buck Island are memorable.

Nothing great about this place, but the view and few artifacts were neat to see. Has a long way to go on the national park side of things, limited hours and things already look tired.

We kayaked through Salt River Bay with BushTribe, and Chris was able to provide a lot of the historical significance of the area as well as a nice view of the flora and fauna in the area. It's well worth it to see the mangroves and the plethora of birds that live in this area. We also saw some beautiful jellyfish and many other animals.

This is supposed to be a national park? The only place in the United States where Christopher Columbus actually landed? The beach was trashed, there was not even a monument much less any interpretive information. If you like seeing piles of garbage bags and esed tires on a beach in the Caribbean, this is the spot for you.

The bay is beautiful, especially at night. My wife and I did the kayak tour of the bioluminescent bay. It is one of only 7 such locations in the entire world, and we could not pass up a chance to see it. We were not disappointed.
