Lunch yesterday, horrid. Service? It is exists somewhere, but not here for lunch during weekdays. I had Sunday brunch there a few months ago which is the reason we went back. Certainly, there must be a real chef there on Sunday, but not during weekday lunch service. Limited menu, but I go for the crab cakes. After waiting to order I'm told they are out of that, and oh, by the way, if you wanted fish tacos, well, they're out of that, too. Okay, Plan B. How about a grilled cheese sandwich? Not on the menu, sorry. Okay, daily special, Plan C. A sandwich, two thin slices of cheap, store-bought bread. A few ounces of store-bought "deli" turkey and two slices of cheese with an inordinate amount of store-prepared coleslaw stuffed inside. Of course that made the "toasted" bread soggy and the whole thing was inedible. Thought about taking out the alleged turkey to pack and give to the dogs, but it wasn't worth picking through all the coleslaw. This was served with the daily side, a pasta salad. Twenty-two bow-tie pieces of flavorless pasta does not constitute a salad. My companion had the flat bread pizza and enjoyed it immensely but suggested I try the crust (I was hungry). The crust tasted and appeared to be a frozen product that wasn't even dressed correctly, yuck.
All that said, I will go again for Sunday brunch, but never for lunch and probably won't try this for dinner. It was the least thoughtful menu I've seen and even less thought put into the actual preparation.
