Our first visit to St Thomas was awesome! A very relaxing vacation. Renting this villa from Howard was super easy. Two emails and we were good to go. Howard sent us an email about a week before our visit with all of the address and directions to the villa he also included about 5 pages of tips for restaurants, taxis etc which we found very valuable!! The condo has nice views of the marina and is close walking distance to the beach. Sapphire beach is beautiful!! The condo has many camping chairs and beach gear which we did not need to use but thought it was nice he provided. This is a super quiet location however a short walk to the beach or a shorter walk to the pool which has a full Resturant and your in the mix. It was a great balance. The villa was clean but has aged like any other rental property. It's convient to Red Hook which is a two dollar taxi ride and only 5 min drive. The condo is not for anyone with disabilities because it's ground level you actually have to walk down a flight of stairs and their are some pretty good size hills to walk up to get the taxi or go to the pool. We did love our stay and if we decide to visit St Thomas again we will go straight to Howard to rent his villa again.

We spent the week after Christmas at Dominica 163 . The owners provided us with detailed instruction on how to drive to Sapphire Village from the airport , restaurants and activities to do in St Thomas. The condo was very clean and had all that was required for the beach such as cahirs , beach bags and some snorkeling equipment . We enjoyed our stay and made friend among the locals that live there year round , who gave us great tips on what to do , shopping etc.

This is a ground floor unit with a view directly onto the yacht harbor. My family and I enjoyed our stay. The a/c works well, as does the tv, and we ate in most of the time on the nice big table. The pool just up the street is clean and refreshing and there is a restaurant there if you want to eat or drink. Up the hill there is the stand with the best ribs ever! We walked past the harbor to the beach (about 5-10 min) and had a great time each day. Our last day we went for a sailboat trip on the Nightwind and it was wonderful!

My family of four stayed here for a week at the end of June 2014. It was as described and very clean. The bedroom was pretty and comfortable with a full sized closet and dresser space for clothes. It was nice having two futons for our teenagers who are too old to share a bed. Location is the best part. The condo is really close to the beach. It is also close to the pool and the restaurant/bar which had good food and friendly staff. It is right by the office which has the strongest wifi signal and a laundry room. We weren't able to pick up the wifi in the condo on our phones, but that was okay since I was on vacation and didn't bring a laptop.

We visited four other beaches and Sapphire Beach has the best snorkeling on the island. (Also verified by a pro underwater photography I sat next to on the plane :) If you go far enough out you will see sea turtles and rays. Closer to shore are lots of pretty fish by the coral. Red Hook is right down the road with great restaurant choices and both the ferry and car barge to St. John. St. Thomas does not have much to do at night for teenagers but there is a decent movie theater about 15 minutes away and tickets were actually cheaper than here in the states.

The owners of this condo are very nice. They gave good advice and were quick to respond to questions. The price is very reasonable and they had snorkel gear, floats, beach bags, towels, and chairs to use. It was a great.

Get a map when you get there in the airport The roads wind around quite a bit and the route numbers can be confusing. There is also helpful advice on line on how to drive on the left. We were glad that we rented a car since there were four of us and you pay for taxis per person. Say hello and good afternoon to islanders before you ask them questions or place an order for food etc.
