I am currently staying at the new suites in the oceanfront butler category. Room 412. The view from my room is absolutely breath taking. The room is just an average style room. I wouldn't call this a suite. It has a king four poster bed, two chairs with small table. The bathroom has a two sink area with a full size closet and the commode is in a separate area with the tub and shower. No jacuzzi style bath tub. Very basic. The best thing again about this room is the balcony, which
is a nice size with two chairs and a table, along with two lounge chairs. The food has been very good at the different restaurants. I do recommend butler service when staying at a Sandals property. The butler will take care of all dinner reservations, you never have to worry about getting a reservation or seat at the different restaurants. They have a quiet pool and the party pool. The beach has been greatly improved with three different areas to swim, which is very nice, with lots of white sand and chairs to lounge in. The island called Sandals Cay has been greatly enhanced, with beach area and lounge chairs. They also have a nice size pool with a swim bar.

Great Resort!! Best hospitality I've ever experienced. Also, the food in all their restaurants at the resort is outstanding. We spent 5 days at the resort and never had a complain. The weather was awesome. NO rain :) ... You will get to meet and make friends with other couples from all over the world. I definitely recommend to any couple that wants to have a great time.

The property is gorgeous! The food good, people very nice. I asked for washcloths twice & never received them. The rooms need to be nicer. It is not a 5 star hotel. The smoke detecter in our room was hanging open our whole time there.

New husband and I stayed for our honeymoon and absolutely loved the resort! Will definitely go back. Friendly and Great service from staff, dining services were delicious, and just overall wonderful experience. Even outside of resort the locals were very friendly!

Room Tip: The Balmoral Tower pool is the more quiet and relaxing pool, the Windsor Tower pool is the more party atmosphere and games/activities. Must have an ocean view, they are great.

We just got back on Sunday from an amazing honeymoon at Sandals Royal Bahamian. My wife and I could not recommend this resort more for couples going on their honeymoon (or any sort of getaway).

I must've read a million reviews about the resort before we headed out, and I simply cannot imagine how anyone could have written a negative review about the place. Yes, we did have butler service (and one of the rooms that goes along with that) but so many other aspects of the resort are genuinely top notch - the grounds, the friendliness of the staff, food, drinks, pool, etc.

-We were upgraded from a Royal Village Honeymoon Villa Suite to a Royal Bahamian Oceanview Suite in the Windsor building. Our butler told us the resort was about 65% full so they always try their best to upgrade when possible. We loved our room - very spacious...the balcony was huge. We had a view mainly of the pool but could easily see the ocean as well. Some people complain about the location of the room since it's very close to the "party pool" but we never had a problem. They start the music at 11AM so we were always up at that time.

-Can't say enough great things about our Butlers Dianna, Raymond and Cory. They always made sure we were taken care of. The part we liked the best were the bath's they drew while we were out at the pool or the island..it was great to get back to that in between the relaxing and dinner. We always had some sort of food to come back to as well - desserts, shrimp cocktail, etc.

-When we arrived (in the Rolls Royce..very cool) Cory had already arranged our dinner schedule for the week. The food is EXCELLENT here. I'll make it short - Baccarat and Gordon's was our favorites...Casanova and Crystal Room were just OK. A trip to the island to their restaurant is a must - get the grouper wrap. We did a candlelight dinner on the beach our last night there and that was fantastic as well. Chris, our waiter on the beach was the nicest guy we met all week and was the perfect way to end the honeymoon.

-Our favorite part of the resort is the private island. We spent almost half of our days hanging out there. If you want to get some sun, stay on the front part of the island facing the resort. If you're looking for just relaxation, hang out on the back side of the island facing the ocean.

Great time, great people and a great honeymoon. We loved the Royal Bahamian and will hopefully make it back there in the future.
