Make it a point to have lunch at Tippy's then spend a few hours walking around the Leon Levy Native Plant Preserve. There is a small educational centre and LOTS of trails to walk (plus an observation tower that gives you an awesome view of the area).
It is remarkable to see what Eleuthera looks like in its natural state :-)

A beautiful botanical garden with diverse plants and a nice trail system leading to a tower with a view of the Atlantic from there you can walk down to the pink sand beach and a nice bar and restaurant

If the Atlantic beaches are too rough, do not miss a trip to this beautiful preserve. Very well maintained and excellent education. Well worth the admission. Not much further to Tippy's for a lunch after the visit

Maybe not a hidden gem, but a great one. Find an alcove to park in, get greated by the super friendly staff who will tell you about the park, what to see, where to go, etc
Get going on the esy accessible paths around the place, decide if you want to see it all or just parts. We spent the best part of 2 hours, walked all the way to the tower in the south end, spent time in the edible part, was amazed by the turtles.
There are not many “touristy” things to do on Eleuthera, so dont miss this one
