Another great time and meal at the Beaufort.
Food excellent, service first class and lovely to be greeted at the front door by the owner/proprietor Miguel (who I have known for around 20 years).
We were celebrating my Step Fathers 75 birthday and nothing and I mean nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the service they gave our family.
Unfortunately, there was one little down side to the whole affair, one of my sisters had brought a small birthday cake (size of a small side plate) and we were told there would be a fee to cut/slice the cake for us.
This left a bitter taste in our mouths, I'm sorry to say.
We've been to this establishment a number of times and as my Mother and Step Father live in the same village, they regularly eat/drink at the Beaufort.
May I suggest that there's little or no point in charging to have a birthday cake sliced for a family. Rise above the need to make money at every turn.
Other than that, I would highly recommend this establishment for everyone.More
