Very disappointed. The shower door was Dangerous(other guests complained about this in the guest book) you had to lift it to close it, and the corner of the shower was dirty and the base was split. The Toilet Brush was a health hazard! completely disgusting.
We had to lay on top of the Duvet of the bed because the mattresses were so bad (other guest also complained about this, but nothings been done) I had to sleep near the window and the wind coming through was dreadul (other guests also complained of this)
come on! if your charging those prices, you need to upgrade your rooms! Not Good.

Room tip: Dont book GLAS Cottage

We are unable to get spares for the power shower cabin so have been carrying out admittedly temporary repairs, but Dangerpous with a capital 'D'?
We will be installing a new shower cabin in September when we have time for planned maintenance.

We have never had a compaint about the comfort of the beds, in fact quite the reverse.

Apologies for the toilet brush - inexcusable as we keep plenty in stock and should be changed regularly.

Eradicating wind noise in a 250 year-old building is proving challenging.

Our prices are seen as good value for money and our reviews reflect this and invariably receive excellent feedback.

Stayed with family for a week had a great time. Lovely clean well equipped cottage. It could not have been any better. Small garden area and great views. Can park car opposite, Do need a car. But can walk to station which is useful and friendly local shop. Visited for a family wedding in Pontypridd and our daughters graduation in Lancaster!

Room tip: Not a hotel but a self contained cottage.

We stayed in a studio apartment 'Gwynn' very compact and cosy with underfloor heating and comfortable beds. Not far from the Brecon Beacons national park. Fabulous views.to the front and a hilly rear. Great walk though.

Room tip: Upstairs apartment might be quieter

This was perfect for us. Very cosy. They welcomed us on arrival and allowed us to bring our dog.
Ideal location for the Brecons and would recommend the Waterfall Walks for spectacular views, but leave yourself at least 5 hours.
Has beautiful views!

We stayed in Glas. Location for our needs. Car is definitely necessary, we liked that most things we wanted to do were within a half hour drive. It's at the top of a steep hill but this was ok for us...easy to find even in the dark. Log burning fire-kept us cosy as we went for a quiet NewYear getaway. Space and layout- ideal for two for a short stay. Sky TV and WiFi worked well. Great views even in the rain! Overall place was lovely and clean, kitchen area and fridge could do with a spruce up.

Underfloor heating wasn't that great-but staff were helpful and did bring us an electric heater which did help take the edge off on the first night. Wouldn't be a prob in summer I imagine. Window next to bed-the seal was broken and howling cold draft all night. Could do with a new set of cutlery and maybe a couple of wine glasses. Could do with a slightly bigger sofa..alright for one but a bit squashed for two to relax.
We enjoyed our stay here and would visit again! Luckily it wasn't an icy winter..we'll probably try Spring or Summer next time.
