We enjoyed our week in this lovely cottage. We had a peaceful week with everything you would need. The cottage is easy to access and is central for visiting. We particularly enjoyed visiting Saint David’s and Tenby with our dog. Plenty of games, and books and a TV for chilling after a busy day exploring. We would recommend this cottage for anyone wanting a quiet week in stunning Pembrokeshire.
This is a lovely spot in a very quite little hamlet close to Porthgain, home of The Sloop Pub and The Shed fish and chip restaurant (both excellent). Everything you might want is in the cottage - games, books, maps, cooking stuff. The garden is small and lovely and can let dogs roam free in there. Rooks in the trees across the road can be a bit noisy at times but didn't stop us sleeping. Loads of lovely walks close by, and St David's is only a few minutes drive.
This was a good option for a place near the beach. It was close enough to the coast for quick drives, and close to some great villages. The kitchen is small but efficient, and the family room is quite charming. The only negatives... 1) it's close to the road, so it's not as quiet as we hoped, and 2) the beds are hard, and you can feel the springs (so not comfy). But if those things don't matter to you, then it will be a perfect place to stay.
Fabulous cottage with so many attractions within a 5 mile radius! Spent our short break exploring and the cottage was in the perfect location. Equipped with everything and more. The bedroom with its French doors on to the garden was a delight. Nick kept in contact and was the perfect host. No problems with a last minute booking and clear instructions. Hope to return in the near future. Many thanks.
This cottage is perfectly located to explore the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastal path with access to the path a 10 minute walk away. Beaches are 5 minutes drive or 15 minute walk and the charming village of Porthgain, with the famous Sloop Inn pub and the wonderful 'The Shed' restaurant in this pretty little harbour with a deep history. There are also some lovely art galleries there. A short drive away is the 'city' of St Davids with lots of options for eating, drinking and mooching around.
Bwythn Graig is an adorable cottage with everything needed for a family stay, we have stayed in many cottages join this area of differing sizes and this is an immediate favourite! The kitchen has everything you need to cook a family roast and anything else, plenty of glasses etc and dishwasher so we could relax. The lounge is deceptively spacious with the most incredible fireplace housing brand new woodturner - much appreciated in the February chill. The bedrooms are warm and cosy and the whole cottage has a welcoming decor and everything you need. The children loved the array of books, puzzles and games and the dog spent the whole long weekend starched out in front of the fire. Can't wait for a summer visit to enjoy the enclosed and pretty garden, with thoughtful planting and get the BBQ out.
I can't recommend this cottage for a family enough - thank you Lou and Nick for excellent communications and all of the very thoughtful touches, a real home from home.
