We have had many good meals in LARKIN’s, but not today.
It would seem that standards have dropped dramatically.
While the service and friendliness is good the food is not.
Tempura prawns were tough with a strong not fresh odour - the beef burger was so hard seemed like it was pre- cooked . See photo of food left behind.

We visited Larkins on a whim on a Saturday night in March. The Merlot was amazing. The hot and sticky chicken wings were meaty and tasty, but the highlight was the duck main course. The vegetables were excellent and the pint afterwards tasty. Great friendly service. Nothing was too much trouble. Go there, gou will be glad hou did

Many thanks to Maura and staff for making out special day unforgettable. The quality of food as usual was outstanding and enjoyed by all. The quality of service was highly professional by the waiting staff a great friendly bunch of girls. Nothing was too much trouble I would strongly recommend Larkins for an intimate occasion such as this or for lunch or dinner. Beautiful traditional pub restaurant in a fabulous setting

We stopped in for a pint and a “P” on our drive around Lough Derg. Have been here before and know it is good. Love the atmosphere. Today the service was on spot multiple people came to take our order and we were not the only ones in the place. Love the sign to the toilet “4.U.2.P.” Hope you can see it, my phone camera has a shaking issue.
