The location of this hotel is great: walking distance to the (public) beach, multiple great restaurants, as well as a CVS store, etc. in the immediate neighborhood. Unfortunately, as of May 2021 this LaQuinta hotel still used Covid-19 as a lazy excuse to massively cut down service. There is no housekeeping for guests staying multiple days and the breakfast consist of a bag with a muffin, a cereal bar, an orange and some orange juice. In addition, the service quality of the front desk staff is hit or miss. Although the hotel is new and a hotel chain like LaQuinta should know how to design a fitness room, the one at this hotel is just a random ensemble of mostly subpar equipment. Also, there is no AC in the fitness room. Under proper management and with motivated staff, this hotel could be great.
