“Lovely homely cottage, great location and loved the garden”

We stayed for a week in the summer holidays with my husband and 2 boys (11 & 13). We were very lucky with the weather and only had 1 wet day. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. The beds were all very comfortable and there was plenty of room. We loved the conservatory and garden and it was great to be able to sit and relax in the garden and we played with some of the bits in the games box outside. The beach is lovely at Coldingham and a lovely spot for a traditional seaside holiday. The garden is very secure so was great for the dog. Only minor things were not having a shower upstairs and it would have been nice to have a better view of the garden from the dining table and conservatory (if the shrubs were cut back a bit it would open up the view down the garden) but these are only minor points and we would happily return for another holiday.

Delighted to let you know that a new shower and bath have been installed on the upstairs bathroom. Is mains pressure so shower is lovely!

We have also cut back the shrubs in the front part of the garden to allow a better view down the garden. Many thanks for your suggestions. Andrew

“Well equipped house with a lovely safe garden”
Reviewed 18 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

set in a very pretty village with a very safe beach 1 mile from the property. Great garden for kids and pets. Parking outside the house is on a narrow road which has cars and caravans passing to nearby site. BBQ available which is not listed in description .
