We arrived late afternoon and were greeted very warmly by the owner. We were shown to our room and everything was explained to us. There is a guest area, with tea and coffee making facilities (which I would have preferred to be in the bedroom), which is very pleasant and well supplied with information about the area.

The bedroom was pleasantly furnished with a neutral, but warm decor. It was generous in size, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully warm. The bed was very comfortable, well supplied with bedding and pillows, and again spotlessly clean.

The bathroom was a little on the small size, but not unmanageable. The shower was ok, but personally I would have liked a little more power in the water coming from the shower head.

The breakfast was brilliant. There was a generous choice, and the cooked breakfast was lovely, beautifully cooked and very tasty.

The owners of the property are very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

We stayed at Bonnieviews (on wed 12 oct 17) on our way to John O Groates. The setting is beautiful with fantastic scenery all around. The view from our room was amazing. Carol the host is very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. Our room was big, clean and comfortable. With a lovely big bathroom and great shower. Cooked breakfast was fantastic. Accompanied by a choice of fruit, yoghurt and cereals. We loved our stay and would definitely return. Thank you Carol for your hospitality.

Beautifully run B&B in the highlands. Very spacious and clean and the hosts were just delightful. The room was very comfortable. We had dinner at a nearby hotel which had beautiful views and the food and service were both good. Great stop if you are heading to John O'Groats.

We arrived about 8pm, the B&B was reasonably easy to find, there is a roadside sign at the end of the lane but it can only be seen if travelling North. Carol provided space in her garage for our motorcycles which was good as it was tipping it down with rain.
The room was excellent, warm and well appointed. The shower was really good with lots of pressure, hot and easy to regulate.
The WIFI was a bit hit and miss but she had explained this when shown the room and it was ok in the residents lounge area which also had tea and coffee facilities.
Breakfast was well cooked and a full Scottish there was also cereal yoghurt etc. There is no provision for an evening meal so you need to eat before you get there. Wick probably has the best choice. Overall and excellent B&B which I would definitly recommend. We paid £70 for a twin room with breakfast which was great value, a budget price for a super stay

Room tip: Watch out for the sign at the lane end or miss the turning.

Arrived after a days golf in Lybster, followed Carols directions and found Bonnieviews easily, views were fantastic. Gorgeous clean rooms with spacious ensuites. After a shower, us five ladies headed to a nearby restaurant kindly recommended and booked by Carol (we were not disappointed, thanks Carol) Returning to the B&B we took advantage of the fantastic guests lounge for a night cap. After a great nights sleep in really comfy beds it was time for breakfast. The variety was second to none, fresh sliced fruit fab, breakfast cooked to order excellent. Carol and Stuart took time to chat to us, nothing was to much trouble. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this fantastic guest house.

Room tip: Great views, quiet rooms, fantastic breakfast and excellent hosts
