There was a miscommunication when we stayed at Camp 5. We were told a mosquito net and linens would be provided. We were not prepared for a simple mat next to 15 other people. It is a clean accomodation in the middle of the jungle with great staff who prepare tasty foods. Make sure to bring a towel and toiletries for the the cold shower, a pillow, and a sense of adventure!

Not sure where to start praising this place.
The protection effort over the rainforest is amazing.
The bungalow accommodation inside the park was perfect. We would fall asleep with the sounds of frogs, crickets and rain falling on the leaves. The bungalow was big, comfortable with all the necessities: big and comfortable bed, sockets, big shower room. Room gets cleaned everyday.

All the activities were really great and interesting, there is something for every level of tourist/trekker. A massive shout-out to all the staff at the office and the guides, especially Ishmael and Nick who were nice, attentive and clearly very proud of their job and the conservation efforts in the forest.

And finally, thank you to the staff at the cafe: your food was absolutely amazing and I will never forget your beef rendang!

The gardens bungalows are beautiful and very comfortable.
The cafeteria food is good although you have to have time.
The visits were too comfortable, no adventure here (although we visited very nice caves!). It would be nice to have intermediary treks (either you get the family ones on boardwalks, either the very difficult 5-days to the pinnacles). I would have liked one-day jungle hikes without boardwalk. There is a very short one to the waterfall but it takes only 30 minutes out of the boardwalk.

This place was amazing to stay at, right in the heart of the Heritage Mulu National Park with every activity at your fingertips.

We stayed in the Family Longhouse and what a treat to have so much room to spread out in. Definitely not too original as we had air conditioning and fans and running hot showers in a spacious bathroom.

Only thing to remember is that you will need to bring or buy your own water as you cannot drink the water there.

We ate each night at the park cafe which was delightful, as were the staff, with plenty of choices. Breakfast was included in our price.

Don't think twice, just do it and forget the fancy place, this has character that cannot be matched.

Room tip: There is not a pool onsite and it is a bit of a hike to the waterfall but well worth it. Otherwise there is always your shower :)

The lodge inside Mulu National Park is perfect for exploring the parks attractions and nature at its best.

The lodge is clean, great size and layout especially if sharing with others.

Being inside the park you can explore when it’s suits you, which it offers many different walks to explore.

Highly recommend staying here when exploring Mulu NP.
