Amazing short stay, wish it had been longer.
As a lone Female traveller I didnt have a care in the world.
From check in to departure I was made to feel welcome and special..
I was going to try various different places to eat, but the menu from breakfast to dinner was so delicious, I didnt eat anywhere else.
Room was spotless and cosy bed was a dream with a view fit for a postcard..
Only regret was my Husband wasnt free to join me on this trip.. Good news is, next time he will as I shall return hopefully very soon.
Thank you to all the lovely staff at the Clansman and their fabulous chef..
Well Done on first class hospitality ....

We stayed two nights here and really enjoyed it. Fantastic walks up above the hotel grounds and scenic road trips around the area. Beautiful bluebells in May! Our rooms were simple, basic hotel rooms facing the loch. Lovely view but the windows opened onto the outdoor smoking bar area. Not very private and then... the tour buses started arriving. There is a continuous stream of buses all day and the tourists come to the hotel for the souvenir shop located on the ground floor. We enjoyed the restaurant and local brews in the bar and the staff were fantastic, but if you're looking for serenity, look further afield.

Stayed here for 1 night during a tour of the Highlands. Positives are staff are friendly and efficient food and beer excellent if not cheap. We had a dinner and breakfast both of which were excellent. But the walls are paper thin I could hear an extractor fan some where all night. Our neighbours every click of a switch was audible and when tgey decided to shower at midnight and again at 5am not much sleep was possible.

The rooms are very comfortable and well presented. The bar and restaurant are excellent, and the breakfast is very good. It’s an ideal spot to explore the Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle and it's only a short, pleasant drive to Inverness. Highly recommended.

Overall it’s a lovely hotel, the staff are very friendly, it has an excellent location overlooking Lockness with boat trips from its on side dock.
We ate at the hotel restaurant, the food was really delicious.
It’s a very busy hotel and parking is controlled with parking attendants, but we had no problems parking.
There’s a great shop on site selling a good variety of gifts.
The best rooms are obviously overlooking the lock but we had a last minute deal and our room had hills views.
It was not brill but had everything you need, the bed was very comfortable and it came with breakfast included.
