Another great stay at Tiny’s Hurricane Hole! Great atmosphere with great owners. Every need we had, Jason or Michelle was there to meet it. We stayed in their newest cottage, a beautifully decorated unit with a large living area, very functional bathroom and a completely furnished kitchen. Its second story position behind the beach front cottages offers privacy and from its wide deck you still enjoy the ocean view and breeze.
And the restaurant still has food unmatched for quality and taste. The grouper sandwich is the best we have ever eaten. Of course we had one of their pizzas on another night; another delicious meal! In front of the restaurant is a long dock, a great place to sit and feel the ocean breeze in your face. The crowd that arrives for food and drinks consists of vacationers, boaters and natives. Everyone we met was very friendly and enjoying themselves.
If you want a quiet location to regress in age and get rid of stress, Tiny’s Hurricane Hole is the place to be! We will continue to visit because we no longer like the large crowds associated with many tourist spots. It is our favorite location on Long Island and we recommend it to everyone.

If you want to go to an upscale bar and chill this is the best place on the island. The food is really good, but the best part is their drinks and an extremely comfy seating to sit back and chill

The restaurant is great! The hosts (Michelle and Jason) couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful! Beautiful beachside location. We will definitely return! They have 2 cottages to rent, and, again, Michelle and Jason were awesome! Very helpful , especially navigating ever changing requirements due to Covid.

A beautiful beach front bar and grill...uncommon quality of construction and maintenance, but still feels wonderfully appropriate to the Thompson Bay/Long Island community. Service and food are both outstanding and there is plenty of parking for cars or tenders. Go for sunset and stay until closing! We had burgers and pizza and both were wonderful...roasted vegetables topped with fish was our favorite.

What a truly magical place set in a remote and beautiful corner of this fabulous island. Owned and run by Michelle, who gives the small resort a real personal touch - nothing was too much trouble. This really is one to search out for if you are looking for self catering accommodation or just a drink at a great beach bar and something to eat at the end of the day. All the staff were super friendly and the house rum cocktail one to savour!! She has just two lovely single storey beach fronted detached little houses and a third raised on stilts all overlooking the sea. They are well furnished with all the facilities you need and would expect. We also thought it priced keenly at $200 a night. It’s a small resort but with a great atmosphere. A place also to relax, search out the stunning beaches or just sip a cocktail or two looking out over Thompson Bay. As an added bonus it’s also ideally placed for the best supermarket on the island which is great for provisioning. You will need a hire car!
