A spectacular lunch oceanside was terrific!! We can wait to return for another amazing meal! This is a must!

When we found our favourite stella maris bar was closed we were pointed to the moonshine bar with its lovely sea views. Service was morose at best from the young man on duty and when we studied the lunch menu with its very limited choice and inflated prices we decided against it. To add 15% service and 10% VAT to already pricy meals it worked out to be the most expensive burger on the island.
Thankfully we returned to the main restaurant for an evening meal which was great - see separate review.

We visited in July, 2021. We had lunch and drinks there. It is a nice spot to visit. I would recommend for views and pool area.

The bar is outside and covered. It’s has a great view of the gulf. I had fish tacos for lunch and it was great.

My husband and I visited the Moonshine Bar and Grill twice during our trip to Long Island. One day for drinks and another day for lunch and to hang out on the beach and at the natural pool. On the day we had lunch no one else was there so we had the place to ourselves. Well, there was a goat family with collars that walked by the pool but they just added to the fun island experience. The young man working provided excellent service during both visits and took great pride in making our lunch. We had the mahi wrap and sweet potato fries. Both were actually quite good for a beach bar lunch. This is a very unique spot that you must visit.
