A nice little bakery on island. Did not have a lot of bakery items as we got there a cruise ship had just left the day before. Was able to get 2 little cakes. Okay

If you eat anywhere in the Bahamas this is the place to visit.
Rated by best taste:
1) The Rum Cake is better than anything in a box. Get it warm and it is absolutely amazing. This was the best food I had in Long Island and in Nassau. It made my top 5 deserts in my life!
2) The banana bread is on point. I had to come back the next day to get it.
3) Pound cake is amazing
4) Chocolate pound cake is super tasty

Insanely cheap too, the staff is so friendly and nice! They have homemade Italian ice in the back, in different flavors, just ask for it.

It's no secret that getting a breakfast in Long Island is difficult as it's just not that type of vacation island so the next best thing is going to a local bakery - this is where Erica's comes to save your day!

It's cash only but the least expensive place on earth - for 3 pastries; coffee cake, lemon bar and the delicious and absolutely outstanding banana bread we paid $7!!! It's probably the least we ever spent on any "breakfast" while on vacation, and it was delicious!

The place is also a store and you can find many grocery type of items here so super convenient, especially since it's open daily 7AM to 6PM.

TIP: For me the cherry on the top would be a coffee served at Erica's but they are not a restaurant but a bakery and a shop run from an inside of Erica's home from what it looked to us, so don't expect tables or service here, you buy your items and go - we ended up returning to our hotel and enjoy our bakery goods with some tea and coffee made by ourselves :)

Erica is one of the many kind and endearing people we met while on the island. She has great prices on her groceries, and her cinnamon rolls are to die for. She is always welcoming and keeps a smile on her face that will bring a smile to yours as well. We returned to her shop many times while we visited the island, even when we really didn't need anything!
