The family are lovely and very welcoming. Excellent setting on the beach as the sun goes down for a lovely relaxing dinner. Good great, wine very well priced! We've been back several time over the last 6 years and never fails to please.

Dionysos came highly recommended by several people, staff and guests, at the Vounaki Beach Club, where we are staying 1/2 a mile away.
The Dionysis staff were polite and helpful and the food was really nice. I had the ' special' pizza, as after 2 weeks of Greek food, I didn't fell the need to keep-it-local any more. However, it was different to all the other pizzas I have had around the world, difficult to explain why it was different, maybe they used better ingredients or just have a better chef - whatever, it was really nice.
They also do lots of Other food including the traditional Greek dishes.
Recommended.

We havent visited Dionysos before. One reason is that these beach restorants have people "harrashing" you every night askong if they could help you. I like to choose my restaurant based on what i see, not what the owner or the " door man" tells you. Second reason is that often the restaurant with top spot have ether expensive or bad food. Well, we decided to test the place cause of the good reviews here in tripadvisor. We ordered the "special dishes" that werent on the list. Meze starter for two, Lamb Kleftiko and fried Sea Bass. All of the dishes were delicious, but after the check the prices were a big suprise. The normal check for three persons is about 34€ with alot of small starters and the main dishes. The 56€ bill was a negative suprise and the waitress should have told us before recommending that the special prices are way higher then anything on the menu.

Everything is fresh and locally sourced. Lamb Kleftica was great, steak was fantastic, salad so fresh. Beer cold :)
Alex was always helpful and attentive. Always greeted when you pass without the usual pressure to come in and it.

We first visited Dionysos early last week and were so impressed returned later that week.

Beautiful situated a few yards from the sea, the food is excellent in quality, very reasonable in price with great, friendly service - I had the best Moussaka I have ever tasted!

A large carafe of the local red wine, better than many much more expensive wines I have experienced, just €6.

Overall a great experience enjoyed by everyone in our party.
