Stayed at Mintigi for two days.. it’s a little away from the town like 15 mins walk up a steep hill. It’s too quiet and if you’re coming back from the town at night, you might get a little scared. Removing the shoes before entering the hotel bugged me a little as I’m the “stay clean” person at all times. Echo is a big issue in this hotel. Even when somebody is talking at a far distance, you can still here them. They have “stay quiet/ shushing” signs all over the place. This spooked me a little and I was very eager to go back to KLzz There’s no fan or fridge or AC in the room so it might turn you down a little after a long trek back to the hotel but since the place is at a height and all cold, icing no fan seems fine. My husband rented a bike and we went to all the places around Cameron highlands especially the strawberry farms and the tea farms. The bike part was fun. The staff is friendly too. There are lots of restaurants in the town so food won’t be an issue but the shops shut down very early at night. We went there through the bus and it seemed fine too. Not a bad decision at all

Nice new family room with balcony (clean fresh air with a view) sure a plus points with friendly staff who welcome us. Can walk to the town area as its not far but if u decided to stay in the room (or just sit at their mini garden area); they do sell some basic stuff such as bottled water and snacks with reasonable price.
They also arranged activities (day tour) for you so its easy for us who travel with family. Overall its a nice stay where you can feel relaxed.

Very good place to stay whilst visiting the area. Basic but has all you need. It’s a short walk to shops and restaurants.

Staff are very good especially Ver who was very helpful during check in. We had accidentally booked for the wrong month through agoda and he helped us change it, let us use the phone and gave us good information.
Thank you again Ver!

I find it a bit strange when you have to take off your shoes outside before entering the hotel. You leave it in a cupboard outside and then enter. Anyway, the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

The rooms are relatively new and the hotel is at the top of a hill, so the view is nice and it's very quiet at night.

The rooms are spacious and come with a balcony, sometimes with or without a chair or even a bench. Mine didn't but it was okay. You get the basics; free wifi, coffee and tea, bed, cupboard and bathroom. It's all fine. Nothing to rave about, but nothing to complain too much about.

If only they had some carpet down the corridor, it would absorb some of the sound. The echo is a bit crazy. You can hear everything. It's not as if they need to worry about the dirt either as all shoes have to be removed before even walking into the hotel!

Anyway, it's okay for what it is.

Would I stay here again? Probably.

Quiet around here which is good for sleeping. A little out of the way, 5 or 10 minutes away from main restaurants and shops. You have to take off your shoes which isn't an issue at all. Everyone is very helful and the rooms are clean. Good budget hotel.
