We were welcomed by the excellent owner upon arrival.
The place is clean, quiet and friendly and good value for money, we stayed in an en suite
room which was very nice but the other rooms only share a bathroom between 2 rooms so no real issue.
There are nice shared areas in each of the accommodation blocks with kitchen facilities.
There are great views from the balconies.
There are a few drawbacks, the shower is not very easy to direct and there are no shower gel or shampoo plus the breakfast is just toast and jam. However because the prices are so reasonable for the overall accommodation these can be overlooked.

Room Tip: The second block is quieter with only 3 rooms

Stayed here for just one night for exploring some places around. The hostess is really nice and helpful and even that we only stayed for just a night she gave us a lot of useful information on surroundings and possibilities (e.g. the best restaurant of the city which I will review separately). The room we had was small but nice with garden view and attached bathroom. everything was very clean, too.
There were just two things that could have been better: During check-in the son (at least I assume it was the son, don't remember) talked a lot with us regarding politics. He told us his opinion about the situation in Germany and that it's time for Angela Merkel to leave. Well, I am happy that this guy seems to be interested in European politics, but this could actually be a very sensitive topic and should better discussed with foreign people without knowing them (and their opinion) better. In my case I found this discussion quite inappropriate.
The second thing was the warm water issue in the morning. We knew that there's a switch which you need to use before using the shower, so that the heater can heat up. But actually no one told us how long this would take and so we had to take a cold shower as we had to leave.

We stayed at Gerard's place for two nights and had a great time. The hosts gave us a warm welcome and provided us with all relevant details for the stay. Information on hiking trails was available in folders, but Jay and Josh were also happy to answer our questions and to suggest great places to see, tours to book or restaurants to try. We had a neat and spacious double room on the ground floor facing the garden (attached bathroom). Check-in and check-out went smoothly and we very much appreciated that Jay gave us a ride to the bus terminal the morning of our departure. In sum: Charming place to stay at, we would book the same place at a future trip to the Cameron Highlands.

I stayed here for 1 night for my recentl Cameron ultra Trail Run. Gerald's place is very easy access location for us with car and it is walking distance about 10mins in slow pace from Tanah Rata bus station. The room is very comfortable and the whole guesthouse is just nice and relax as per the photos shown in their website. The owner also very warmhearted as they will make sure the guests can have clean, cozy, peace and comfortable stay. The owner is very friendly and she voluntarily dropped us to Padang on 6am for our run event! They even allowed us to bath and rest after we came back from the run which is later than the checkout time! Highly recommended place to stay.

Room Tip: every room with windows and bright.

This was such a nice surprise. The host and the other guests were all so helpful. No pressure to buy trips but good information. Very welcoming and knowledgeable about traveling many places. The extra touches were appreciated. Hair dryer, charging areas, coffee/tea 24 hours and even home cooked treats! The ride to the bus station was so unexpected, but very welcome. I was sad to leave.
