Quiet bungalow behind the
Room-203 on the 2nd floor corner room, facing hill n a corner view of the nice garden. No elevator so becareful if you have a bad back. Having a pair of spare sock to walk inside this bungalow will be nice as the floor tiles can feel cool to walk on with barefoot. There is a rack for shoe keeping just outside the main entrance. Shoes can be hand carried to room also. There is a loud staff whose voice fills the lounge area when she comes in. Must admit we were quite taken aback as staff shouldn't create noisy atmosphere.
Continental breakfast – toast, cereal n fruit, coffee n tea choices
Free coffee n tea for self-serving in the afternoon at the lounge area.
Tropical weather has high humidity. We open windows during daytime for natural ventilation but do remember to close before 1600 hour to prevent insects.
Shoplots within 3 minutes walk, by the main road. There are Chinese, Indian n Malay food choices. Night market (pasar malam) is held every Sunday evening, apparently. Also within 3 minutes walk. There are also Starbucks n other local cafeterias further down on the right side, along the main road. Very conveniently located for a quiet rest in Cameron Highlands.
We had dinner, breakfast at Bunga Suria, (less than 3 minutes walk) which also runs hotel. Food n service are good. This restaurant is opened 24 hours. Convenient if you have early morning activities like golf n jungle trekking. We tried roti canai, non-veggie dinner set, chicken tikka murtabak, strawberry lassi, tea, kopi tarik.
