Daughters wedding on the 21jan the room was set up beautiful,we had the wedding there as well everything done to a very high standard you could not fault anything the meal was superb the service was second to none.the night time hog roast was great any body thinking of having a wedding in the near future please give it a chance all the hard work was done by them . The hotel is to a very high standard all rooms are beautiful, one of the best thing about the hotel is the staff a credit in every way

Very attractive hotel & fab decor. Bed was comfy, bathroom lovely & breakfast tasty. All the staff we encountered were great. However, not enough staff! There was no one on reception when we arrived, and no bell to call anyone, so we had to hang around. When a member of staff did appear, she immediately helped people who had arrived after us & disappeared with them!
It took 25 minutes just to get a cup of tea at breakfast and the toast that was supposed to come with our hot food never did arrive.
Also, when we checked into our room, there was work being done on the front entrance and the scaffolding was right outside our window. So the workmen were standing right outside our window & using very noisy power tools. We were hoping to have a relaxing hour at the hotel after a long journey before continuing onto a family funeral, but that was impossible. We found out that there would be no work being carried out on the Saturday, otherwise we would have asked to be moved. But the hotel was not full, so I don’t understand why we were put in that room in the first place. No privacy whatsoever!

Made an telephone enquiry for my parents to have a wedding anniversary weekend at the hotel. Spoke to a lovely receptionist called Rosie. She was a joy to talk to, answering all my questions with such enthusiasm. My parents were delighted to receive their present and can't wait to stay at this beautiful hotel.
