This hotel is a two minute drive to the Columbo airport departure hall. We were leaving on a 1:30am flight so checked in for 8-10 hours. It couldn't have worked out better.
ROOMS; Modest sized and a little worn, but the beds were clean and very comfortable. As others have mentioned, its a little dated but you're not coming here for a week long holiday.
* Allegedly free, but it did not work most of the time and the young guys on staff, though they tried hard, didn't really know how to make it work.
STAFF; Very helpful and friendly though not all that well trained. Nonetheless, they did their best to help us in any way possible including sending the hotel van over to the airport with the six of us at 11:00pm.
* Very nice way to spend a few relaxing hours in the heat of the afternoon.
RESTAURANT: Quite good, actually, for a quick dinner. The portions were huge...way more than I could eat... and moderately priced
SUMMARY; While this is not The Four Seasons, it served our purposes quite well. It was moderately priced with clean rooms, friendly staff, a nice swimming pool to cool off in, and a restaurant to get a bite before getting on that late night flight. And, two minutes from the terminal. Recommended for MId-Range travelers.More
