We had a terrible experience here with the receptionist who wrongly accused us of stealing the hotel's umbrella upon checking-out, she could not prove it and wanted to charge 1000baht. We refuse to pay as we did not steal it. She also charged a ridiculous 1000baht for a small bedsheet stain which we paid out of anger. She was very rude and deliberately shouting to create dramatic attention. We left in an awkward situation and we will never ever going to this hotel again. A nightmare of the decade!

DO NOT BOOK! They scammed us out of the deposit for two rooms. They promised us the money and never got it back to us, even after multiple attempts from our family. The manager Patteema personally assured us accounting was working on it as we are entitled to the money but it has been MONTHS now.
The rooms were old-fashioned and we found bugs in the bed. You can find much better accommodation in Thailand with higher quality and better service for the same price.

Excellent location and restaurant.
Thai style, not your western style box formula. I prefer this type of resort has some character. Rooms are huge as is bathroom. Not all have beach views but it really doesn't matter as you are literally 10 metres from the beach and 500m from the main street.
Loving our stay here. The older staff are very good, some of the younger staff appear a bit lazy and sit back and leave the work for the older staff.

Great location and mid week deals are excellent. Like most tourist spots in Thailand is more expensive on weekends and the local shops are not always cheap so shop around.

Overall we love this place and will be back
