And in this case, we wish we didn't. Would rather had slept in our car - this place is a big lie. Filthy and rundown. It's a shame because you can tell that it was once a nice place...just has been neglected for awhile. It's obvious that it is rarely visited. The peacocks have covered the place with poop. The pool is utterly unusable - unless you want to contract a deadly infections.

Don't be misled by their slick website - this place is a disgusting rundown nightmare. We arrived (after a prepayment) and a very large group of teenagers were camping all over the grounds. They filled the pool and the area that looked so inviting from the website with their party and highly amplified music. After searching for the manager ( he knew when to expect us) he assured us they would be gone soon. We went out for dinner and returned hoping for a refreshing swim but found a vile polluted pool and garbage-strewn grounds instead. He, of course was nowhere to be found. What a disappointment and ripoff. No hot water, no toilet paper, no air conditioning (or openable window!!!) in our room (even though two other EMPTY rooms had units running all night) Big surprise, there were no other guests at all except for the many peacocks and their mountains of droppings everywhere. Everything was in derelict condition including the manager - we never saw him again. Needless to say, we got out of there first thing in the morning. This place is nothing but a ghost town haunted by its memory of better days. Stay WAY clear of it!

Great place to stay during the weekend, just in the heart of Mexico's wine valley. You can enjoy great views to the valley while being surrounded by peacocks. In this very peaceful retreat just 20 minutes outside of Ensenada, Mexico.
