We stayed for the weekend Friday-Sunday. Our original reservation was awful (brown water), so we were happy that the hotel could accommodate 3 adults and a toddler the day we we arrived.
Beautiful grounds, mature landscaping, clean and gated with 24hr security. Restaurant on site. Grocery store across the street. Just 3 miles north Ensenada city center. Reminded us of a Palm Springs 60s motel.
We stayed in one of their free standing "casitas" called Azul. 2 bed, 1.5 bath with kitchen, patio and outdoor grill overlooking the pool. This unit was recently 95% remodeled. Large bath had updated plumbing fixtures, window but the pink tiles and glass block shower area remained. Also the 1/2 bath in one of the bedrooms did not have a tp holder, mirror, hooks, towel bar nor shelf which was a inconvenient- It's Mexico..
Another thing to note, is the lack of AC. The unit had ceilings fans and operable windows. I can't imagine what the temperatures would be like during summertime but it was bearable with all the windows and fans on.
My daughter loved the large and very clean Pool
Overall we loved the hotel and the casita. Definitely would recommend this to anyone.
