This is the Tijuana nobody sees. The ocean, the bull ring and Los Arcos restaurant and the walk along the Malacon!

This is where the locals hang out. Lots of families. Beach is nice and long, and you can choose if you want to be in the middle of the action on the north end or a bit more quiet the more south you go. Lots of great eating and drinking options all along the malecon.

I'm lucky to be alive.Others weren't so...

Ahem.

It was super fun while it lasted. As always, I have no regrets. Peace.

Thought-provoking to see the border fence extend into the ocean. There's a fun sign to take pictures by, and a wooden boardwalk to stroll down. Apparently the Amish have come down here because we saw many of them strolling along the beach in their traditional clothing. Lots of places to eat, but not sure how good they are, and some buildings are falling apart or unfinished. Also, occasionally there's a strong sewage smell.
