Owner description: Stretching from the original Mazatlan past the Golden Zone to the end of Cerritos Beach, Mazatlan's waterfront street is the backbone of the city.

In NYC, I dream of this Malecon! It's somewhere between 13 and 15 miles of skating along the beach of Mazatlan from the new to the old city and back. There is a wonderful man who sells coconuts, which he slices with a machete. After you drink the coconut water, he chops up the coconut and gives you different hot sauces to cover it. It is the most delicious healthy fat to fill your stomach for a day of adventure along the coast or in town. I can't wait to return! And, at night, the locals come out to dance and skate and exercise and chat and have fun! I LOVE THIS MALECON!!!

Malecon is the long corridor running along the beach. This is one of the largest (or the largest?) malecon in the world. Nice place to walk, run or just sit to enjoy the sunset.
