The food was very good especially Wagyu beef, duck tacos, cocopaches (beetles) and volcano cakes.

However very much let down by arrogant service and having to stand outside in the cold to pay the bill.

Amaya restaurant is much better - exquisite flavours and warm, welcoming service.

Everything was top-notch: ambiance, drinks, and definitely the food. We had the milpa sours, river tacos, duck tacos, squid ink risotto, and pork ribs. I loved the rio tacos with the itty-bitty crawfish the best and my friend’s risotto was incredibly rich and delicious.

We appreciated Juan Pablo spending time with us to go over the menu and the attentive, but never intrusive, service from Octavio. My friend and I won’t soon forget this meal!

Well prepared sophisticated mexican food. Beautiful place in the centro historico. Great mezcals and good wine list.

I'm growing shy of tasting menus. Often they're more show than substance, and you leave hungry and feeling snubbed. This is the opposite, and if I were to criticize any one thing, I found that there was too much food.

There are English menus, but communication broke down when we asked detailed questions about the food. Our server and we had some pretty detailed interactions using google pics. We tried some very unusual Mexican specialties, all of which were delicious.

We had four different moles that looked absolutely identical, but tasted nothing alike. Subtle, rich, flavourful.

Do not be swayed by the beautiful room on the main floor; the top floor is even more magical. It has a glass ceiling with a water feature. It is one of the most beautiful dinning rooms I have ever been in.

We got wine pairing with Mexican wine. I'm still not a huge fan, but each wine worked well with the dish. A couple were absolutely stunning, like nothing I've ever tasted.
